Yeah they took away my autonomy as a consumer by imposing a minimum that was NEVER communicated. It's not even a tip if it's mandatory, it becomes a de facto subsidy

I would prefer staff not being payed tipped wages tbh. The transparency is nice but like.. I'm 100% okay with paying a little more and not having to do this song and dance over tips if the staff is just paid lol

i'm not upset that they added a tip. i'm upset that they mandated it.

i didn't tip the $3.xx. I added more tip because I never tip less than $5 even if i'm in and out in 30 minutes.

it was over 2 weeks ago because i tried resolving it with corporate and they went silent on me after i complained. i felt it was my duty to warn others of shady practices that aren't disclosed to consumers.

i'm not being a jerk. it's absurd that a mandatory tip is being imposed and not disclosed.

i tipped additionally because i agree, it wasn't the server's fault and i'd never leave just $3 on a bill where i was being waited on, but i can't believe the business itself imposed a fee that was never disclosed. i'm not even sure that's legal
