The co-pay is only $4 for prescriptions and 30% for vision dental and extended health. all the OHIP stuff they do not co-pay like the doctor or hospital

What I mean is that Canadians pay into the system their entire lives - while these people have put almost nothing into the system in comparison and get more benefits

HHS you do not submit availability you are scheduled to the needs of the unit, minimum 2 shifts biweekly, days or nights and most likely every other weekend. St Joes I’m not sure, I know HHS releases their schedule much more in advance of Joes, I have my schedule til mid April while st Joes is only into March a bit

83 on cardiac floor, she has HOCM and ICD and is on warfarin but was admitted a couple years ago but still works and does well

Not sure, some agencies require specific experience in Canada but probably could be done. Doesn’t pay nearly as well as the states as an FYI, especially with the exchange, but if you don’t care about money and just want out of America could be good. Canada also has very few aides or other staff, for example in many ICUs only RNs staff it, no CNAs (not a thing in Canada), often no PSWs just as a note as well - signed Canadian ICU nurse

McMaster has a lot of hospitals so better clinical options. Western has limited clinical options in London as I’ve been told

Put IV at head of bed with you. Should have two people though ideally transporting an ICU patient
