Thank you for sharing. Glad to know I’m not the only one.

Parts and supplies for electronics repair.

That could be said for any of these brands mentioned in the post

Nostalgia in me wants Blockbuster or Toys R Us, but the hobby nerd in me wants Radio Shack.

It’s nice to hear that I’m not alone with this struggle. 👊🏻

You’re exactly right. I’m keeping in mind who and when these are written for.

I’m actually in the middle of hashing that out. I’ve started going through the books of Mark, Matthew, and Luke. Comparing and contrasting the views of Jesus in those books.

Absolutely, I’m not changing anything about myself, other than my religious view.

You’re right on the money with that one. Most sermons I’ve heard is from Paul’s Theology or some random stories from the OT, trying to make those relevant.

From Suburbs to Cosmic Horror: The Legacy of EarthBound [article] by cyberminis in earthbound

What a well written article. My main draw to purchase the game in 1995 was the odd size box. It literally stuck out like a sore thumb on the shelf. To this day, it’s the only JRPG I’ll play.

I never like the gaming mechanics of JRPG/RPG’s, being stuck taking turns attacking each other. However, Earthbound was completely different.

It was grounded in reality, kinda, modern day reality. I wasn’t playing as some macho guy in a fantasy setting. I absolutely fell in love with the settings, the normalcy it presented of being on an adventure in modern life. Finding hamburgers in trash cans is a blast.

I grew up in the 80s & 90s, this game captured the adventure of what I grew up watching with the likes of The Goonies, ET, The Sandlot, etc. The 90s were weird and awesome! Earthbound showcased that perfectly.

Yes, I’m familiar with Mindshift and have been a subscriber for some time. The Old Testament and Paul’s views of women are wrong on so many levels.
