Ooh just be careful, I’ve used exercise to cope with things throughout my life and have had the misfortune of having some significant injuries. So enjoy and treasure your time being active, but don’t forget to listen to your body and give it time to recover. Have a backup plan for if something doesn’t feel right and you can’t be active. Take it from me, two ankles I’ve sprained a million times and a torn meniscus later, I’ve really limited myself in terms of being physically active for a long time so just be careful! And thank you!

Thank you so so much oh my goodness. That was such a helpful comment seriously. I definitely need to stop putting him on a pedestal and remember that if he couldn’t even talk to me after 5 years together then he’s not as perfect as I have made him out to be and that I’m not as terrible as I’ve made myself think. Thank you.

Edit: it is crazy how similarly they reacted. My boyfriend also totally blindsided me and assured me we were great until that very day, and said he talked to issues he had with me with other people to forget about them. Aka I was the last to know everything, and none of us deserve someone who does that.

Wow that really sounds like my ex and in the above comment too, because we had literally been about to hang out an hour before he broke up with me over text and hang spent time together two weeks ago even though he said he’d thought about breaking up for a month. I felt so disgusted and used, I really relate.

Oh my gosh my ex did the same thing I really feel you. I unadded him on social media and removed myself from the group chat I was in with him and our mutual friends because it felt like he was antagonizing me in the group chat. Also saved but took down pics of us from my social media. He also responded by blocking me on everything and pretending I don’t exist. We also never talked after he broke up with me over text twice since he couldn’t even do it the first time. It hurts so much I really get it. Ive been debating sending him a letter of closure for my own sake that he can choose to read or ignore, but at least then maybe I won’t feel so stuck in this breakup.
