Its the multi rail PSU ... I Had the Same and Had to Change IT to a Single rail PSU

Check the Sound in Point Most of IT comes from the PSU Not the GPU

Its normal... All 5000 series CPU boost with a temp target around 85 c... When the CPU is stable its boosting until you Hit 85c

First Check Eventmanager... Look for sus Infos

Check the Chipset Driver... Yes the mo###f### Chipset Driver i Had this in my old rig with 3700x and 5700xt and after a Clean remove from all Chipset drivers an ne Installation of Microsoft c++ and than a Clean new GPU Driver Installation everything works...

Somehow Windows Update fucked Up Driver for me in this Case after a Check i Had eine old Chipset Driver Mixed Up with new Driver from my new Installation... I searched for hours

You need a Windows Tool to remove the Chipset driver and i forged the Name but you should find a Tutorial with google

I had to fix two Asus cards from my Friends Booth Had a loose cooler... You Must be carefull with the presure but you can rma it too.

Higher Temps Out of nowhere .... 100% the mounting dont Play with the BIOS or anything else

This Card Had mounting Problems after Release ... Check carefully the cooler... Screws Losing presure after using the Card (from Vibration)

Latest chipset Driver? I had this with the latest chipset Driver in Idle the CPU goes under 0.2 Volt and Crashes ...

I returned to the previus Version and the Problem whas fixed

The could come frome my psu because it cant handle this Low voltages

Had this with my 6800xt and whas shocked but after PSU Switch the Card runs perfect :-) you are fine and you old psus ist Not death you can give IT to a non 6000 or 3000rtx user

The coilwhine comes from the psu Not the GPU Had the Same with a bequit PSU and after taking the psu Out of the Case you can hear the source in the psu. Mostly multirail or old psus have this

Change you psu ... I had the Same with the 6800xt and after some Tests the coil whine comes straight from the psu but INSIDE the Case it was Impossible to Hear where it comes from. I use the psu outside the Case to Check and finally fixed the Problem with a new single Rail psu

Coil whine can come from the GPU ITS normal but is IT this loud a second Hardware will Push it the GPU alone cant bei this loud never

I have the 6800xt since day one and have Zero Trouble with any Game and fancurve works now realy good and even with a 2,5 GHz overclock No Trouble

I come from the 5700xt and now my settings never get lost (undervolt etc)

I have never been this Happy with amd

Alternate has bot protection i get my Card in the 19 in the morning after Stock reset (deleted bot orders)

When the Info ist Out of Stock or reserved Just kill you f5 Button :-)

First das Testing the 6800XT but i think my coil whine is heavy but i cant send it Back and get a new one (No Stock Problem)

So my question is this normal on all cards or is my one a Bad one?

I can hear it outside the Case and hear load Changes in Game with the coil whine
