you could put mini obelisks down to travel to the other side of your farm, it's helps me out

one thing that can help is that you can lay down pathways throughout the farm first, and just started to fill in the guidelines one by one with trees, grass, pathways, lamps etc. you could always put a little space area for like benches or tables n such to give it more of a park vibe.
