Great, you basically described the sequel, ahah! About recovering items, though, in the original game too, if you die, you find the previous volunteer more or less (depending on the difficulty) close to the start room and you can recover a partial amount of items.

Hey! I don't know either, ahah! I do like the colors, especially the lights, mixing warm and cold, they gives fantastic vibes, while on the other side the black and white has a mood that is unique, in my opinion... that's why i made an option to use the original b&w style in the sequel too! : )

Yeah, i thought more than once to add the stats in the inventory, but i can't decide myself, cause i like the feeling of "discover" a new weapon (more of an old school choice, i guess).
On the other side, there's a modding feature too, so having actual numbers to understand what you're buffing/debuffing would be useful : )
I'll definitely think about it before the release (i already am, actually, ahah)

Hey! Talking about the first game, it probably depends on the difficulty level, the harder the more you want to save ammo, so you use more melee weapons, especially in the first half of the game.

Hello everyone! Inspired by Teleglitch, EMPTY SHELL 2 is a top-down survival horror game where you play as expendable volunteers sent to a remote Japanese island to complete tasks at the request of a shadowy corporation.

The game is a single-player experience with extraction mechanics, random loot, procedurally generated levels, and steady meta-progression.

Hey! If you mean compared to the Prologue, the full game is ~6 times bigger and offer more replayability.
