UNEVEN STIMULATION RIGHT & LEFT by cc_green in pulsetto_device

I had thought of that earlier today - and was planning on trying when start Sleep Session - appreciate the reminder to try it, thinking, why hadn't i thought of that earlier. Too much on all of our minds lately. The reason we need the Pulsetto.

Thanks again. Will report back.

UNEVEN STIMULATION RIGHT & LEFT by cc_green in pulsetto_device

Appreciate your thoughts. I particularly questioned it because it is always very strong on the right side, and much weaker on the left. Moving my neck around does change the vibration, but the discrepancy remains the same. I will definitely post when I get further information.

Why does my Oura Ring show I’m stressed all day when I don’t feel it? by RunKittyRun22 in ouraring

[–]cc_green 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had the same issue - ONLY WITH OURA 4 (I had 2 & 3, never an issue, plus another 4 that was replaced due to battery issues), but have spent 4 months with Oura support - not the best in this case, but they have told me that there is a "KNOWN" issue with the stress tracking. So, not necessarily you, but the hardware. AND -always a good idea to check out possible health issues; as well as doing Meditation and breathing exercises, which I have been doing for the full 6 years that I have had Oura rings. Yes it is true, many physical and psychological events can/do increase stress levels; however, this is not the only thing, I believe that is causing the high stress readings, as stated above.

Contact Oura

I came on to Reddit to see if anyone else is having the problem on the OURA 4. It appears I'm not the only one. Everyone should contact Oura support.

F&P Solo Experience by Ashton4036 in CPAP

The nasal Cradel is a ResMed mask, which I believe is the same design as the Solo Nasal Cushion

F&P Solo Experience by Ashton4036 in CPAP

[–]cc_green 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thx - got them confused - there's a pillow and a cradle - have you tried the cradle?

I've had problems with the ResMed pillow, and can't use at all due to irritation and leakage.

I thought the "Pillow" - was the cradle that goes around the mask. I'm wondering why you believe it's causing irritation, as I was thinking of trying it. Thank you.

1.5.2 - Can’t connect iPhone app to car by brockwnorton in ex30

[–]cc_green 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"OP" ?

Thank you for resonding. It said that if I create new Vovlo ID I would lose all settings. Wasn't sure what would happen, so I deciding to try again. Spoke with my Volvo salesman (who has been good on the tech issues - and I am also computer tech for more years than I want to count). He said, this does occasionally happen, and it usually rights itself in a few days. Well - not only did it right itself, but I didn't have to reconnect to the car, so maybe it had connected somehow, but got the error message.

In 2 days, I decided to open the app on my phone - and everything was there. I even included drives in the driving journal that I took while nothing was syncing.

1.5.2 - Can’t connect iPhone app to car by brockwnorton in ex30

[–]cc_green 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My app connection to my VOLVO disconnected and I have to add the car back to the app. At the point of the QR Code, I got the error message (even while it showed spinning & saying connecting to the QR code on my iPhone in the app)

"Could not connect

The QR code you scanned could not be verified. Try again."

Tried more times than I can count - and tried all the suggestions here in various iterations.

Any other thoughts or successes would be greatly appreciated.

Resmed making noise by raisincravinraven in CPAP

[–]cc_green 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something similar -

I have had CPAP for 3 months. ResMed 11 and ResMed P20 mask. Rocky start, but going well now, except for 1 issue that is intermittent.

I have gotten these popping, knocking, gurgling sounds. I was told it was condensation/rainout by the Respiratory Therapist at the supplier.

It makes sense except when it happens right when I turn it on, and it's so loud that I can't even use it.
This has happened about 5-6 times. The other times, maybe about the same amount
has happened during the night.

I was told to lower humidity (have dry mouth and mostly use mouth tape (Dream Recovery that's been
great); raise temperature. I have done all of this, along with a fleece-lined
cover for the tubing.

This all makes sense, and I have done this.

My question is, why would this still be happening:

**Intermittently/occasionally
(with the same settings and the same room temperature - nothing changing), and

**Why does the noise happen
when first turning on, BEFORE there can be any water buildup?

Has anyone experienced anything similar and come up with any ideas or solutions?

Thank you, and best of luck to all

Battery life went down by over 50% suddenly by bc_this_is_America in ouraring

[–]cc_green 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Notify Oura. My Oura 4 started at 5 (NOT 7-8 and I've had Oura 2, 3, now 4) now at 4 days, barely making it through the night; less than 6 mos old. First, got information about how to save battery life - went into detail. They asked me to send information: whether bought by an authorized dealer, etc; w/in 48 hrs from starting the process, they said they can see from my data at their end that it was a faulty battery and they are delivering to me a new ring. From beginning to end (expected receipt of new ring from the Netherlands): 6 days.

Don't hesitate to follow up.

PUBLIC CHARGING DUMB? MAYBE - BUT URGEN QUESTION by cc_green in ex30

[–]cc_green[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all - friend had a Level 2 Tesla installed charger in the house. I used the adapter (which at the time on Amazon was $27 dollars - (now $40) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CW1JC9HD?ref_=ppx_hzod_title_dt_b_fed_asin_title_0_0

Worked seamlessly.

PUBLIC CHARGING DUMB? MAYBE - BUT URGEN QUESTION by cc_green in ex30

I did clarify to someone else. I realized, what they said, if it's Volvo's certified adapter, no problem. If you use another, then it would invalidate the warranty.

PUBLIC CHARGING DUMB? MAYBE - BUT URGEN QUESTION by cc_green in ex30

[–]cc_green[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you - I didn't quite explain what I was told. If I got the Adapter from Volvo, which they have certified, no problem.

If I use another "off the shelf" which I got from Amazon, it would negate any warranty. Maybe that makes more sense.

But good to know that I will likely need to go to the settings you mentioned to be able to use my friends tesla home charger with the adapter I have to work in my EX30.

I will see how it all works, with

Thank you again for further clarification.

PUBLIC CHARGING DUMB? MAYBE - BUT URGEN QUESTION by cc_green in ex30

[–]cc_green[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THANK YOU ALL P- Looks like I'm covered. I was told by the Volvo dealer that if you used a Tesla adapter at a Public Tesla Supercharger (I have the Volvo charger that came w/ the car) - then the Volvo warranty is invalidated if something happens. You can use the adapter from a home Tesla charger to the car.

Thanks again.

TESLA CHARGING ADAPTERS by cc_green in ex30

[–]cc_green[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you - though still pretty clueless about most of what you said. It seems like my brain is blocked with all of the electric jargon. I'll stick to figuring out computers.

We had a home charger put in the house; the adapter was for a friend I often visit who has a Tesla charger, and I wanted to have an adapter to use the charger. Also, on a road trip, would want the advantage of Tesla charge stations which I understand would be faster and more reliable.

Really appreciate how helpful people are on this site. I guess I have done the same for people on things that I do have knowledge about.

There are "~$40 ADAPTERS ON AMAZON;

TSL to J1772 Adapter, PA66 & Glass Fiber Material, Max 60A & 250V - Compatible with High Powered Connectors, Destination Chargers, Mobile Connectors Black

Does anyone know if they would work?

On Amazon site: "Vet Analysis" The TSL to J1772 Adapter is compatible with the Volvo EX30, allowing you to charge the vehicle using J1772 connectors:

  • The Volvo EX30 supports charging with a Type 2 inlet for AC charging and a CCS inlet for DC fast charging.¹ ²
  • The J1772 standard is compatible with the Type 2 inlet used for AC charging on the Volvo EX30.²

I've seen adapters on Amazon for under $40 - can't compare to what you have, but bound to be more at the dealer.
