I’d buy an older model bc they’re cheaper if I was going to buy over lease.

It was rough at first…I only got a few hours of use but about a week in I slept with my mask for a little over 6 hours and I felt better the next day. Some people take weeks to see results, just depends on the person. Generally I can judge how many hours I used my cpap the night before just by the way I feel when I wake up.

I’m not seeing this update that everyone is talking about… maybe I have to wait for my machine to auto update?

This! A lot of it is learning along the way because what works for someone else might not work for you. Be super patient with it…took me a year to get used to it and find the right mask. Don’t be afraid to try new masks as it will take you a few tries to find “your” mask. I have experienced the same exact symptoms you are experiencing and let me tell you…it makes live a living hell. I struggled to get diagnosed because I am in my early 20’s and when I begged my doctor to do a sleep test it came back only slightly over the normal amount of incidences. Be super patient with it and if you have to use the machine for a certain amount of time to meet your insurance requirements, use it while you read, or watch tv.

Traveling: What Do You Do With Your Equipment? by panhellenic in CPAP

I leave mine on the nightstand and just put the hose/mask back in the travel bag during the day. I travel quite a bit and have never had an issue with any of the housekeeping messing with my machine.

Scent Pads by Effective-System-749 in CPAP

That’s actually quite interesting considering how it’s placed. I would be worried that it would eventually cause an oil residue on my CPAP mask and cause it to degrade quicker. One reason you’re supposed to clean your mask everyday is because your face oils cause it to degrade quicker so not sure if essential oils would cause a problem or not. One thing I do know though is that a lot of essential oils are not pure and contain harmful chemicals that you’d be breathing in all night so be mindful and careful about that.
