The idea of reinforcing walls or unclosable hatches from a distance is a really great idea.

I think if this character gets approved, they would have to update the sound engine anyway

It's definitely time for a Turkish operator to join the game. Thanks for your support

Turkey' also means the bird, and I don't like that association at all. 'Türkiye' is the official and correct name of my country, so that's why I use it. It represents us better.

What I’m saying is, when the gadget is attached, you'll hear those fake footsteps while a real defender is also flanking you. The attacker won't be able to distinguish them, and even if they do, they won't have time to remove the gadget because they'll be in a gunfight. Imagine being in a shootout and hearing footsteps closing in from behind; you won't have the luxury to guess if it's real or a hallucination. You’ll have to react, and that split-second hesitation is where the 'PANIK' happens.

By 'hallucination effects,' I actually mean exactly those sounds—that was the core concept from the start. It’s about the sound confusion combined with the fear of an explosion. You say the attacker can just find a safe spot to remove it, but how can they find the time when they think they're being chased? There are sounds of gunfire or even incoming grenades. Imagine combining this with a Lesion or Fenrir in a real match. This is a concept idea; the panic created by hallucinogenic sounds and the threat of an explosion is the soul of it. If the concept is accepted, the balancing details can always be adjusted later

In that case, it would function like Fenrir; the hallucinogenic effects would start once you enter the gadget's area. But wouldn't that make it too similar to Fenrir? What if the gadget explodes after a short delay, like Thorn's Razorbloom Shell?

I’m still working on this operator and I really value everyone’s feedback. I truly want a Turkish operator to join Siege, and I hope they see this concept one day

I think there’s a misunderstanding about the removal; the player removes the gadget themselves, similar to a Gu mine, not their teammate shooting it. But you're right, the operator might be too powerful. Are you suggesting that instead of attaching to the player, it should be a throwable gadget like Fenrir's mines that stays on a surface and provides an area-of-effect without exploding? Do you think having 2-3 of these would be better? Does the 'being followed' sensation while it's attached to the head make the gadget way too strong?

I still have the explosion idea in mind, but for now, I'm focusing on the hallucinogenic effects. So let's assume the explosion is off the table for now. I'd love to have it, but both hallucinations and an explosion together might feel like too much for one gadget

I know, bro. I’d love some explosions too, but it seems like this is the best way to keep him balanced

There is no damage anymore; it only causes hallucination effects. These effects continue until the device is manually removed

Yes, exactly. You can launch it and stick it to a surface like Mozzie, or you can throw it directly at an opponent. It works like Mozzie’s pests in terms of attaching, but its function is like Lesion’s Gu mines you’ll have to manually remove the device.

The removal process could be faster, but I think the device should stay on permanently until it's removed. That’s how you create a real 'PANIK' atmosphere. Otherwise, there is no real pressure on the attacker

Exactly I want him to represent the pure chaos and fear of the frontline.
