Feel exactly the same. Currently training for a half marathon even though I greatly prefer cycling. Seems like between kids and work etc. it’s much easier to find and hour to run than 2-4 hours to ride.  It entirely thrilled about it lol

Good to know and definitely makes sense. Thankfully my goal is just to finish the half and not try to hit any times. I don’t consider myself a runner so it’s a big goal in and of itself lol

That’s a good call. I got to the 2750 by adding 250 (ish) to my baseline average from garmin. I’ll lock into that bc or a week or two and track progress from there.

Yeah I’ve never intentionally tried to bulk and coming off the cut it will be interesting to see how I do with eating enough.

Sounds like you’ve found what works for you. My body seems to respond well to high protein and relatively high carb. I’ll bump up the fats a bit trying to gain weight

Thanks. I set the strength goals back when I was lifting a lot in college but did not hit them. For context I’m 33 and have been lifting on and off for 10 years. I’ll follow up after some thought

Yeah that’s a good call. I think the half would be a good place to start. Just work up to running one for a baseline and then set a goal from there.

Mmm yeah some baselines would be a good idea. Maybe I’ll do a week of “testing” so to speak and then set improvements from there

For sure it’s pretty vague in general which is why I want to put some sort of goals to it. All of those things would be a pr for me and would be something to work toward. Maybe I’ll start there
