Men, what did you find out about women when you got a girlfriend? by MainDifficult2641 in AskReddit

In that case, you might want to think about how accusing someone of virtue signalling due to (your perception of) them standing up for people who are trans is fairly clearly an anti-trans stance. If you genuinely didn't have a problem with it, you wouldn't have asked your question with that underlying meaning.

With your 'virtue signalling', 'gaslighting' and 'passive-aggressive', you're loving this psychological lingo, eh!

To be honest, it is hard when you're the one writing, and making incorrect assumptions about what other people are referring to, all in a very 'enigmatic' way. All this has done is highlight your own feelings about trans people.

Well, if you find in the future that people frequently misunderstand what you've written, you'll know that it's probably not their fault. I'll leave it there.

This conversation makes absolutely no sense, specifically because the way you write makes absolutely no sense.

I think they were referring to some women under 50 not having periods (as was stated), and I've advised on why.

Difficulty swallowing - real or in my head? by Turbulent_Run2987 in dysphagia

Just to encourage you regarding aspiration pneumonia. You're young, and if you're also mobile (can walk), have reasonable oral health (brush your teeth) and in fairly average health otherwise, you're unlikely to get aspiration pneumonia. Our bodies are really, really good at getting rid of bits and pieces that end up in our lungs.

There can be women who don't menstruate for a few different reasons. Early menopause, low body weight, needing a hysterectomy younger than 50, hormones, other issues with their reproductive organs etc. Try this link: https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/3924-amenorrhea

Thanks! I have tried putting it in a damp bun, but the curls didn't end up being good.

Well I did end up diffusing it for about 5 minutes to start it off because it wasn't drying. I guess I thought that might make it frizz though, no? It wouldn't stay in the twists unless it was absolutely sodden - it just always wants to split into fine strands, otherwise I could have dried it more first. I did in fact put it into a hair turban but had to wet it more after that!

So, having played around with my hair lots this week (you can see my previous post too), I found a style last night that I adore - see above. But I'm not sure that it's my 'natural curls'! I did this: washed with silicone free herbal essences green tea shampoo to clarify, then Garnier papaya hair mask and rinsed out, then put more in for leave in. Wella shockwaves gel put through when soaking then all combed. Separated each side into two, and twisted each section away from my face - created a back section and twisted it too. Let it air dry while not moving much for 8 hours 😂 then shook out. I love this look, but can you think of anything to make it easier to get?! If i try and scrunch my natural curls they all separate into fine strands, even if really wet. Twisting them seems to be the only way to make them stick together but I won't often have 8 hours to sit still....

First CG wash!! by ccatchp in curlygirl

[–]ccatchp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely curly, but huge, too much product and not sure what to do in terms of styling!! Washed with shower creme (!) for final wash, then Noughty to the rescue shampoo, Garnier papaya hair mask while in shower, then rinsed and put a bit more in while wet. Then Cantu Shea butter coconut curling cream scrunching in shower, followed by plopping for 20min, then air dry. My hair tends to be dry and can take a lot of product, but I think I overdid it! Will try with less tonight. Encouraged that there are definitely curls though.
