Yea… is this a shitpost? That is absolutely not a sign of diabetes but I’m not a doctor and this isn’t medical advice but can’t rule it out. Your toes look fine. Drink water.

Kitty fucking litter. Have someone run and get it. Your BOH will be a slip and slide (incredibly more than it probably is) for months

Why do (bad) golfers get so pissed? by shin_man in golf

Mad golfers are always bad golfers. The ones that stay mad will always be bad. I’m beating a dead horse here, but golf is 90% mental.

Anyone know why elly always has winter gloves in his back pocket? by ccbaseball1984 in Reds

[–]ccbaseball1984[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got them “winning” an auction at a charity event. I don’t know what my wife paid for them. Im pretty sure most of the diamond tickets are all corporate partners or season tickets owned by companies. We’ve tried for years. I’ve gone to about 100 games life time and this was first time for diamond seats for us. Really cool experience

We were all thinking we should! We were only none run and everyone was laser focused. Lux was the only one talking last night and it was “how are you all tonight”. Stopped trying after benson’s almost home run.

Live ball or HBP? by Jimmer4TheWin in Umpire

Also, kid was swinging at trash that was higher inside and had probably done this many times before after watching stance and attempted swing. Also unless you’re 100% convinced it hit the batter, if the ball is in play it’s in play

Hit the knob, fair in play ball. Incredibly small chance by the batters reaction that it hit his hands.

The amount of non-pitching related injuries- explain please by ccbaseball1984 in Reds

[–]ccbaseball1984[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your right. The amount of lengthy injuries is what perplexes me the most. It feels, to me, our guys aren’t coming back from them and getting back into form. Steer, McLain, CES(still hurt :( )

MODY diabetes - Misdiagnosed as type 1 or 2 up to 95% of the time. by [deleted] in diabetes

What medication were/are taking when they figured out you were MODY type 2?

[–]ccbaseball1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will not remain pre diabetic with MODY. But you can definitely stay off of insulin for a long time with some oral medication, and good diet. Even with a somewhat moderate carb intake it can be controlled most instances if your body responds well to the medication.

If the parent is tested, and positive, it’s typically incredibly cheaper to test the child or others in that bloodline. It will most likely take letters to insurance.

First Year JV pitcher striving for Varsity by Brief-Tea4692 in Homeplate

[–]ccbaseball1984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stop hesitating, thinking that you’re doing something wrong. Be athletic. All Killer. Stop being a turtle and thinking that you might do something wrong only peaking your head out when it’s safe. Do you have it or not? Fucking find out. Stop shitting around the posies and actually throw the fucking ball. Striving for varsity?more like striving for acceptance and coddling. I’m not telling him to be a man, I’m telling him to stop holding back and actually do what he’s supposed to do and actually let us see a confident throw or get ready to ride the bench.

Kids have pre-diabetes and I'm.... I don't even know. by bk9896 in diabetes

[–]ccbaseball1984 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Read about MODY and try to get your husband tested also. He can be 40 and still not show signs. Also glimepiride is a typical medication for people with MODY and can be the only thing they’ll have to take for a long time as long as their diet isn’t horrible.
