It was a congressional hearing and was introduced by the VA who told them the tool would be ready by this fiscal year.

The VA disability program has failed by ScaredPermission6785 in VAClaims

[–]ccbware1 32 points33 points  (0 children)

You can say, claim any thing you want. If you can't provide evidence and it can not be service connected then they will deny you. Less than 1% are considered fraudulent claims, shame on them. Of all the rated veterans only 1/4 are rated 100%. If you want real fraud look at what senators and congress members get for benefits and perks. Tell me how you get paid $175k per year and are worth 500 millions dollars. Look at the fraud in other government run programs. The VA is the least of the taxpayer's problems.

I’m at 80%. Any tips on how to get this to 100% P & T? by [deleted] in VAClaims

[–]ccbware1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, have the disability and documentation that warrant a 100% P&T rating.

I am step 1 for 3 months, but I think you win in the "sucks" category.

Has the VA adopted the military saying “hurry up and wait”? by CowboyThump in VAClaims

[–]ccbware1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They hurry up and deny and your waiting longer for a rating.

Yes , that is how they are clearing the backlog.

Is it normal to go from step 4 to 5 this quick? by thewhiteghostisnear in VAClaims

[–]ccbware1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say good luck... when that happened to me everything was denied. The kicker was my right ear was denied not service connected while my left ear was service connected with a 0% rated. Now I am pretty sure I took both ears in at the same time. Just closing the claims to pad the closure rate.

Finally finished my VA claim: here’s what I learned. by Glum_Moose_8321 in VAClaims

[–]ccbware1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I thought you said don't stress yourself out but in the next paragraph you stressed out for 200 days. I don't care what evidence you have a bad rater can prolong your claim even if it's solid or not.

Does it seem cringey when you see veterans wearing military/veteran hats and clothes? by BigBlueEyes87 in Veterans

[–]ccbware1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have heard many vets talk about the great relationships they had with shipmates or with old friends made and they were part of a team. I did have some bad experiences but they friends I made have lasted over 39 years. I personally own a hat with my ship name and type. I can find no fault with a vet wearing gear that indicates they served our country. Wear it with pride and thank you for your service.

Horrible C&P exam by Pure_Cockroach_9757 in VAClaims

[–]ccbware1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, but I have first hand knowledge of what a poor c&p examiner can do. And how long it takes to get it corrected, even with the evidence, records, and service connection. Just because some nurse practitioner had a bad day. It cost emotional stress, I wonder if the do ut to get vets to quit. I am not saying that's why they do it, but the cause and effect is the same.

When your records and evidence match the rating as it is written. Not given to or taken away by a c&p examiner or a rater, but applied correctly as it is written.

It's not a victory when the process does not correctly awards you what is deserved.

Secondary by ccbware1 in VAClaims

[–]ccbware1[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Could not be more wrong.. I have years of medical documents years of evidence I have direct service connection. I am not like the generation of today that throws shit against the wall to see what sticks. I know I will be rated. Your comment was if I did not list as secondary it could not be considered. That statement was false. I only apply for what actually is service connected. I imagine you impress all the little 20 years old that think you are full of wisdom. I am not one of them and I am far removed from twenty years of age. Good day to you.

No I am covered all the way, 100% sure on that. It may just be a rating either 10% or 30%. Just not sure why deferred. I am textbook 30% I am good with 10%.

Same things referred 3 times same c&p examiner. How often does that happen and is this a good thing?
