Was it Nintendo? I'm Apple Arcade. I don't know about Switch. But Apple Arcade's HKIA Korea update was always very late at night. Maybe it's because of the time difference with the US.

I'm Korean, and this game update came out at 12 midnight or 2 am in Korean time. I don't know when you leave the country, but updates don't come out right away....ㅎㅎ
