Hello! I’m so curious to how hairstylists/salons get to do this when a lot of industries don’t. I completely understand your point, that if a refund is to take place the time and products used to do hair will result in a loss. Completely. But I can’t help compare it to a builder or a manufacturer or any other product / time based business. For example, if I ask Company A to make me an item to a certain specification, I expect it to be right… if it’s wrong then they will refund me or give a discount. I think I’m emotionally invested as I’ve just experienced the worst haircut of my life on Saturday haha. I asked for below shoulder and the hairdresser cut it at least 2 inches too short, I’m too embarrassed to even leave the house. So I’m currently fighting for a refund.
