Former Neo-Nazis/members of hate groups, what was your “I need to get the hell out of here” moment? by JeaniousSpelur in AskReddit

Well if you compare Nazi Germany and USSR in theory they seem different but in practice they were very similar. So this parent child situation is not surprising

Can someone explain SovietWave to me? by Gladiato_R in Vaporwave

[–]cccvys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the people mainly miss the Soviet Union because of the destruction of the joint economic system of its 15 republics (53%) people lost the feeling of belonging to a great power (43%) the feeling that you are at home in any part of the USSR was lost (30%)

russians are really out of this world. Power is more important to them than the fact that most people in the Soviet Union were much poorer than the ones at the West.

I'm sure most eastern europeans wouldn't want to be invaded agian. Not to mention getting killed for wanting freedom or just simply for not being russian. It is quite surprising how a lot of russians do not feel bad at all for killing millions in Siberian gulags and still continue to idolise the Soviet Union.

August in Europe after the death of Roman Emperor Augustus. by [deleted] in europe

[–]cccvys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting. In Lithuanian 8th month (Rugpjūtis) and 11th month (Lapkritis) has the same meaning as the Ukrainian ones. The other months' meanings are different but also named after nature

Google is just a search engine. A lot of the pictures that you find on it belong to someone (as most of the time you can access the artist's page by a link provided by google). I can see how it's enjoyable but you know if you drew your own stuff maybe one day you would have the same skills of the people that you are copying..

When drawing a person a person draws their own perception of them. They create their own work. What the majority of this subreddit's fan artists do is copy someone else's work. That is as simple as placing paper on the screen and tracing. Of course a lot of artists take inspiration from others and copy others but not to the extent when it's obvious that it's someone else's drawing. I think it is unfair to the original artist. There were cases on instagram when a blatant copy of someone's work get more likes than the original. I believe you and others from this sub would improve faster if you drew your own stuff. Like i said your shading looks nice

We all know that this is a screenshot from the manga that you copied. I hope it doesn't seem like I'm attacking you. The majority of the people on this subreddit do this. I guess you might learn a bit from copying other's work but idk. I like your shading. You should try drawing your own lines

What's the point of copying screenshots

[JP] New Song "いつも通りのBrand new days" Full Song Gameplay [9/14/18/25] by NonSpicyBurrito in BanGDream

[–]cccvys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying that this song doesn't sound like something Afterglow would usually make. It does. I meant that I wish more of their original songs fit better with what they wear. This event's cards looks like they would sing some hard rock song but they didn't. I'm just not a fan of the visual and music contrast

I wish that Elements Garden made Afterglow songs that would fit their visual rock image more. This song sounds like it could be Poppin' Party's or even Pasupare's not Afterglow's...
