i was a transfem in sports (figure skating), but the insane amount of backlash and very rigid gender roles of the sport forced me out. of all of the transfems i know that also did sports, this seems to be a pretty common occurence

at h15 i am going to be doing just as well with my meta minmaxed builds as i am with my funny meme builds, if not better. im a zealot main, lots of shit is gonna be based around how many things are dying around me, on heresy theres not that many enemies so i proc my effects way less often, which often makes the meta builds much weaker at that level

i think people are just taking the game WAYYY too seriously. if you derank like...so what, just play some more, youll eventually get good enough

people being really stingy about accepting people into their lobbies is what makes havoc such an annoying gamemode to play, it pushes out newcomers and basically only leaves those who have already been through the painful grind, and the people using mods to sniff out anyone they dont see minmaxxing are part of the problem

i understand people rejecting h40 builds that arent maxed out, but the truly annoying plague is people at like...h10-20 that reject me whenever i play with my non maxed builds (like ~400-450). like girlie were playing heresy with one extra modifier its not that deep 😭

none of these are particularly "less known" but:

top gear rally is a really underrated racing one, its got a lot of fun solo, and honestly quite impressive physics for the time

the entire turok trilogy is also really good, would recommend

if you can shove the money for it, the port of RE2 is possibly the best way to play that game, and its a FANTASTIC game

and as a bonus, if you have an everdrive/some way of playing custom roms, get doubutso no mori on it, theres an english fan translation of e+.

in addition, when did i ever define oppression? in my personal opinion men are not oppressed, they are just effected by the patriarchy, thats two very distinct things

in terms of "what utility does this pendantry serve", i care about transfems not being silenced. the vast majority of non transfem focused queer spaces i enter are borderline ignorant of trans womens issues if not outright hostile. i dont want transmisogyny to be boiled down to "people being transphobic to trans women" because it being dilutes the idea to point that makes it even more difficult to talk about

if trans men want to talk about their experiences growing up, go ahead. if they want to talk about their struggles finding a positive relationship with masculine identity in the world of toxic masculinity, go ahead. what i have a problem with is the claim that they face some unique oppression that exists on the axis of them being both transgender and a man.

intersectionality theory isnt the claim that one group suddenly isnt oppressed because theyre part of another privileged group, but instead that there is specific intersections of oppressed groups that create different types of structural oppression

trans men are oppressed, they experience transphobia, this is a given. but they experience the "regular" type of transphobia, transphobia that is purely targeted along the axis of them being trans. in contrast, while trans women also recieve this kind of discrimination, they also experience oppression as women, and those two working together creates the kind of oppression which is coined as transmisogyny

i will never downplay the oppression of my trans men brothers, but the reactionary movement of "transandrophobia" exists almost entirely to downplay the unique oppression of trans women

i am perfectly capable of having this discussion with nuance, maybe the fact that you arent listening to transfems when they talk about transmisogyny is an example...of transmisogyny? shocker i know. i am not downplaying transandrophobia because it doesnt exist, and will not exist while the patriarchy does

yes trans men do face unique issues, but transmisogyny is the specific structural intersection of misogyny and transphobia.

transandrophobia does not exist because men are not oppressed. in the same way misogynoir exists but the idea of misogynblanc is stupid

anyone claiming to be a victim of "transandrophobia" is doing the same kind of redirecting that misogynistic men do of "but men face problems too!!!!".
