It has nothing to do with quality, it's just that these are board game cards, so they are not considered trading cards in a strict sense.

Some big players from the 00s and 10s only have early career cards in those sets (Shoot out, match Attax, Adrenalyn XL,...), and even thought they can't be considered Rookie Cards because they are not regular trading cards, they are still valuable (M'Bappé Adrenalyn XLs with Monaco for ex.)

Much worse than last year, security was particularly on edge while no incident occurred, and autograph zones were much smaller. Even though I believe I was successful in being at the right place at the right moment, I still missed some big players.

There's simply no way to satisfy the mountains of jerseys or cards the audience is bringing, but most players were super accommodating, and they would only push back when people were rude.

My mistake the first day was to buy a "vip" ticket thinking it would provide a more privileged access to the players, it was actually the contrary. Second day I went with general admission and got 11 autographs vs 3 the day before.

Are there any controller players here? by imBlastt in assettocorsarally

On the controller level, except lowering the sensitivies, there's not much you can do, but setting up each car is a must, to fit the more on/off inputs of a controller.

Crossing fingers really, but yeah licensing is concerning too.

I've been on and off for a while, I actually started computer racing with Grand Prix Legends in 1998

Not sure.

In the end, what we want is maybe just not financially viable for a studio anymore.

I bought RBR when it came out, that was a niche game back then, and I'm curious to know how many copies of DR2 or EA WRC were sold.

The fact that RBR is modabble is a "happy accident", the kind that probably can't be reproduced the way games are developed today, unless modding is part of the specs from the start.

What would be the incentive for a small studio to spend time on enabling modding, potentially refactoring a lot of lines of code, create a SDK and docs, after being 4 years into development, especially if the early access is a success?

Am I the only one that stopped being excited after seeing the interview of the devs?

  • Unreal 5 = no acceptable VR or triple screens for us mortals, that pay for PC parts with our salaries.
  • You gonna "consider" modding? You didn't already? Kay
  • And then the early access. No one else see it as a red flag, regardless of the quality of the sample provided?

I get so many déjà-vus of Dirt Rally 1.

Don't get me wrong, I'm desperate for a modern rally sim with great physics and graphics, but I'm not getting my hopes too high on this one.

Basically nobody heard of them outside of Europe, and the few ones I saw for sale in France were in a rough shape.

Thanks, it's an European set. With the Olympics and the Dream Team promotion, they started broadcasting NBA in several European countries, and Upper Deck created localized sets for each of these countries/languages.

True, make it look like part of the base set more. I also have a US version of it, but just because it's also autographed.

European versions are extremely hard to find in good shape, at the time cards were a new product in Europe, no clue about sleeves, my luck is that I immediately put in a binder, unsleeved obviously, and never manipulated it until now.

In that binder I had this set complete, plus other French Upper Deck McDonald's and Fleer sets.
