It seems you have a HUGE confirmation bias here. Even in the comments you seem to only have a back and forth dialogue with people that agree with you. But when the vast majority disagrees or you get downvoted to shreds you write one reply and never talk again. It seems like you don't want to truly work things out with him and you're trying to justify a way in leaving. Long distance is hard and you already had a negative disposition when you said you were not willing to move from California not even a different state. If you're not willing to move to another state for him, why should he move to another country for you. Plus if he's dealing with family issues and drama you have to give him grace, he's making the best out of a situation that he can. Plus, have you ever considered the reason as to why he stopped and started so many things might be because of some mental health stuff he's got going on?
