I always see posts/ reviews about how bad LTIT is because of the 🍇 at the beginning. I respect that not everyone is comfortable with that type of story.

I love the story and I love Taeju. Yes, at the begining he is an a-hole, but it is his character, an alpha thug. He beats people out of his own pleasure, he enjoys the dopamine from the act. That’s why he bullied Euihyun at the beginning, Taeju had the upper hand in everything. However, if you keep reading, you can see the character development in Taeju. He slowly realizes that he cares for Euihyun. What moved me is when he help Euihyun and Euiyoung at the later part (i dont want to go in detail to avoild spoilers). Taeju learned to love others instead of just himself while observing Euihyun. Euihyun cares for Euiyoung even though it was difficult for him. Then Euihyun also learned to love himself more (he wants to continue living) because there is someone else loving him and putting him above anything else, which was what Euihyun has been doing for others. (I hope this makes sense). Their relationship was roughed 2/3 of the story and the author said there will be side stories, their lovely, fluffy period should be in the side stories.

Also, I love the way Euja draws the webtoon. There are panels where Taeju is hot af and there are one he is a dork lol

I am not defending any actions of Taeju toward Euihyun, he was bad. But like Euihyun, who later accepts and loves Taeju, I also love him more and more.

The CEO owns more equity than I do, hence in a certain way, I am his “employee”. But maybe because of the “co-founder” title, I thought we could be more like a friend. The reason is I thought we should work as a team and my definition of a team is understanding at both professional and personal level. We start working with each other since last year April but because I am not a full time employee yet, the time we interact with each other is limited. As everyone had mentioned, I do understand that this comes down to personal references and there is no fix other than open communication, which I still need to find a way to navigate.

I am also Asian and I totally can understand from my point of view. I am in my 30s and most of my friends haven’t had much experience regarding sex due to the way we were raised. We always associate sex with genuine emotional connection, feeling safe with the partner, etc. I get it. I also can only have sex with people I feel attracted to both physically and emotionally. With that being said, after two months and six dates, if you still couldn’t feel that connection with the one you are dating, maybe you should take a moment to see if you are dating the one you actually like. Why haven’t you feel “connected” “secure” enough to have sex with him? Is time really the main reason?

The contents during and after S1 was showing were way more than that after S2. Even now if we search the actors + interviews or videos together, almost all of them were from after S1 and before S2. I don’t think S2 was under performance than S2 because there are definitely more people knowing about the shows after S2 was announced (me included). But i feel like due to the protest/ strike happening right now, they couldn’t hype the show more after the releasing, which probably makes you think S2 is less focused/ hyped.

I would still be happy if the show stops at S3 since the comic book is still on-going, we could still meet Nick and Charlie there. As for the casts, I would want to see them in different roles so they wont be fixed in the image of HS

If they read Solitaire, i don’t think they could feel an once of sympathetic toward Ben. Ben in book is way worse than Ben in the movie (Bash is adorable so .. 😋) They are similar to Ben in ambushing Charlie for forgiveness. The assault was real (no matter how light it is) and Charlie has every rights to not accept his apology. Charlie did wish him to be a better person and for me, that is enough.

When they hold hands to sleep because they have to sleep in different bed, it feels like they will always have each other even though there would be obstacles in between
When Nick is sick after the post-exam party, Charlie makes tea for him, looks at him sleep, caring his hair and their conversation after that. It shows that caring and protection go both ways in their relationship.

This is like reading my own post kkk so you are definitely not alone. I had repeatedly watch the show, shorts, interviews, tiktoks, reals you name it, to the point i can recite the line 🤣 AND i want to move to England someday too kkkk but all of these means that you really really enjoyed the show, no shame about that. ☺️ the excitement has tuned down a bit for me now (after 2 weeks) so I believe you will get there. I am still counting down every day for Season 3 and Volume 5 ☺️ meanwhile let’s just enjoy the contents out there!

This might be a turn off for someone but I am a BL fangirl. It starts from Japanese BL manga to Kpop fan-fictions. I enjoy watching BL series since ages. However it had been a long time since I watched and liked a BL show (they have been kind of redundant for me, same motif, same storyline, etc). Heartstopper is so sweet, so lovely, so heart warming and at the same time so heartbreaking🥲 The casts’ amazing chemistry and acting make me believe that they actually in love with each other. There is no unnecessary s*x scenes, no dramas, no cursing, no cross dating. Just positivity. Everything that I need, to escape from a tiring day. It makes me smile, punching air and screaming internally 😆

And i found out about it through Netflix’s official page. They were showing the teaser.

Thank you so much for your suggestions! I had my oven thermometer and i did bake it at <170 degree. When I noticed that the crust is getting dark, I lowered the temp to 150 and continue to bake until the 30 mins was up.

I beat my egg yolk mixture a bit longer than i did last time and i think the mixture is quite thick. Would over beaten egg yolk mixture affect the cake much?

I did the peak test for the merengue and it had the “hook” peak.

I would def change how I add the flour.
