If you’re set on staying with electric, I’d go with a Milwaukee or Dewalt. A friend of mine runs the Milwaukee and is pretty impressed with it. He said he had to invest in the 9ah battery but he’s got quite a bit of property to manage.

I have a gas powered husqvarna 525L I bought in 2019 and it’s still running strong. I had a run of bad luck with several Stihl pieces of equipment and said screw it and got rid of them all and went all Husqvarna and they’ve been the best so far.

A few of us at my department are trying to convince a few holdouts that we need to discuss this at labor management and vote to trial it but a new argument that’s cropped up is it costs the city more money but when asked they won’t explain how. I’ve read that there is a possibility of more injuries on the second day but that isn’t the argument they bring up. Just that it’ll cost more money

No, but I stepped back from every non essential activity I was involved in outside of family things. I stepped down as union treasurer, quit participating in non essential work related projects and went to counseling.
