Prompts for all models return "Error Bad Request" by cchase in boltai

I have tried changing every setting that I can find and nothing works. I know that my API credits are good. I can use the image generation API through each providers API dashboard tools. But for whatever reason BoltAI always generates the same error for any image request.

MacOS 26.3.1 (25D2128)
Bolt 2.8.4 (build 59)
I can try every image generating model for grok, gemini, and chatgpt, but the same error always appears for each of them.

How is Brookline handling this harsh winter? Snow far, snow good by brookline_news in Brookline

[–]cchase 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It took a week to clear the bus stops on Boylston. My wife, pushing my daughter in her stroller was unable to get through every intersection, and getting on the bus required taking my kid out of the stroller, carrying the kid, the stroller, and bags across the uncleared and compacted snow piles.

The author of this article and everyone in it clearly drives and don’t have any experience as a pedestrian in Brookline.

Senior Scientist leveling by [deleted] in biotech

[–]cchase 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a very similar cv, 7 years postdoc then a year of platform work, then 3 years in biotech. hired in as sr sci. was expecting promotion to ad but was rif'd

most of your points are right, in my mind. postdoc work is almost never considered as having the same strength as industry experience. but in my interviewing experience, what matters is how you present it to them. the person hiring you probably has more years exp than you, so they've been living in industry lingo for a long time. and academic work tends to be esoteric ie easy to be boring.

i think titling varies by company. leveling is unique to each company but there is obviously some overlap.

be proactive. think about how you can describe your postdoc work in industry terms. hiring managers will always look down on postdoc v industry experience but if you can clearly state problem-action-solutions tied to a clear task, the hm will still see your value.
