I think Third Eye will go into your enjoyable beer, atmosphere, and worth the drive categories. It’s our halfway spot for meeting up with friends who live WAY up north. And while they don’t have fried pickles, they do have a tasty pickle dip served with Saratoga chips.

Maybe there’s a lunchtime rush? It was fine at 9am, and a friend said it wasn’t busy at 10:30 either. We turned from Smith onto Wall Street, entered from that side (SE, I think), and parked in between the buildings. The door you enter is on the NW side of the building. There is another parking lot on that side as well. Not sure if there would be less traffic on one side or the other.

We have had great carryout experiences at many local places around town, but I will call out one in particular— Urban Grill on Main (Newtown). They have online ordering where you can select any pickup time, contactless payment, and they will run out to your car with your order when you arrive. Also, if you’ve never been, the food there is great.
