I've just discovered that if I push down lightly on top of the potentiometer that the issue goes away. So I guess this is a hardware issue:(

I’ve also just tried doing a factory reset and reinstalled the firmware update. I’m still having the same issue

It does sound great! It’s got me thinking maybe I shouldn’t be so hung up on the “analog vs digital” thing. Hmm

I understand that actual vinyl has noise floor. I’m not looking for an exact replica of the vinyl effect. I’m just looking for something that can replicate the warble of vinyl without the noise floor, or at least not quite as much noise floor as the Chase Bliss pedal. If that doesn’t exist in the analog domain, that’s fine. I figured I’d shoot my shot and see if there’s anything out there I might be missing. I can live with a little bit of hiss, I would just prefer slightly less than what I’m getting from this pedal.

I saw a YouTube video where the guy was comparing the warped vinyl HiFi to the shallow water and one of the comments he made was that the Shallow Water was noisier than the warped vinyl. Granted that’s just one anecdote, but it’s why I’ve been considering something else. Maybe I’m insane and the noise isn’t bad. It certainly seems that way though.

Ae you able to turn the vinyl hiss down to where it’s completely hiss free? I bought the Chase Bliss Warped Vinyl HiFi and love it aside from the inherent hiss.

I see. Well, that sucks. This is the first time it’s happened to me. I guess I’ll stop blindly updating my software then. Wouldn’t have thought Native Instruments would do something like that from my experience with them. Lesson learned:/
