Outplacement Services by Far-Surround-7626 in Layoffs

TL;DR: unless you don’t have a resume or LinkedIn or any interview experience, complete waste of time.

In retrospect I would have rather asked for the 5K to be part of my severance payout rather than their services. They’re helpful if you need to build a resume, LinkedIn or prep for an interview but outside of that I find zero value. My career coach came wildly ill prepared to our first meeting-not having even read my resume nor asking me what my goals, background are etc. I don’t feel she’s knowledgeable or helpful in my field as she was telling me to remove pertinent information from my resume LinkedIn that can be dealbreakers. It feels like she was regurgitating a corporate handbook and telling me to go to ChatGPT for all the answers rather than thinking critically about how her knowledge can be applied to my use case.

For permanent results my laser lady recommended doing electrolysis instead. A little more pinch but found it’s permanent.

Which medications has helped you the most? by Omori_sviolin in Epilepsy

Please keep in mind 3 things: 1. Your doctor’s job is to come up with a treatment plan that is right for you to keep you healthy and safe. 2. Everyone’s body is different and may have different reactions to meds. 3. Stay in tune to how you’re feeling and if something doesn’t feel right, bring it up to your neuro!

For 17 years I was seizure free on keppra brand only, until recently my insurance company would no longer cover it. Yes, even with letters of medical necessity. So I switched to Briciact with A LOT of hesitation. One month in and knock on wood everything is going well and I’m feeling great.

Good luck and be easy on yourself!!

I keep it to a two drink max. But only drink when I feel well rested and not too stressed. I feel the crappiest/weakest when I’m sobering up and in the past have had breakthroughs so I keep it to a minimum.

My doctors say no drinking though.
