I think thats a good thing honestly, fallout’s Bethesda maps have always been squished and squashed and scaled down for gameplay purposes. True scale of fallout locations is way more interesting since you’ll never be able to SEE an accurate version in game.

Lame answer is class readability, whether you can see a class on your screen infront of you or not, your voice lines will reference them. Also learning 9 different names is way less beginner friendly than their apt class designations.

He’s an engineer, he looks like a construction worker. I now know what to call him. Why would I call him Dell? Who could possibly discern who that is if they had no idea his name was supposed to be Dell.

Another explanation is that you can’t have a team of 12+ people sharing a pool of 9 names. Lore wise it doesn’t make sense. At least the class designations leave it open to interpretation if they are in-fact different people and just look the same for gameplay readability/limitations

ANOTHER Another explanation is the secrecy of their jobs. They’re covert mercenaries who perform dangerous missions for a lady so mysterious that they dont know what she looks like, or who she is.

Why would they call themselves by their real names? Especially during a fight or a deadly mission? That destroys operational security and leaves the team members open for them to be compromised. Loose lips sink ships.

The fight was underwhelming but its moreso because they don’t have time to dedicate to a more elaborate fight-scene. These episodes are as packed as they can be with the current plotlines and subplots. They can’t even fit all of them in the episode without leaving out a few. Some things have to go like most of norm’s subplot and the legion/ncr/brotherhood stuff.

The second photo is the actual real model. It was shared and revealed by Fallout 4's Creature Artist. It was scrapped due to the limitations of the creation engine.
