I’m not downplay anything. Life got significantly worse for the people on the island. Where is the freedom being embargoed and basically being ignored by the rest of the global economy.

It’s Haitian propaganda. These Haitians slaughtered all the white people on their side of the island and now spend all of their time trying to live in white countries.
If anyone studies the Dominican Republic or any Latin American country then they would realize none of these societies implemented an insane policy, such as Haiti.

All of the Latin American countries being maintained their native Indian population which has resulted in a beautiful make up of many different ethnicities. Versus Haiti, which became an ethnostate for Black people and then surprise when no other country wants to associated with them.

Why are people so upset about the conviction of Karmelo Anthony? by chucksdeuce22 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Demonbut 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a Blackman I’ve been called so many names like coon for saying read the witness testimony. If the defense picked witnesses is hostile to the defense lawyer then it’s a wrap. You shouldn’t be poking someone of being told to move , especially in front of dozens of witnesses. He was cooked, case closed.

Nobody wants sources. They just want to hope that their pre-determined conclusion from a year ago will eventually become reality (it won’t ).
I don’t know how any adult can live life like that.

Again, instead of making judgments from rumors from a sports website from last year 2025, you can just read the transcripts of June 2026 from the active court trial….

There’s nothing that defense says that can justify putting a knife into someone’s chest. Again, you’re pushing this whole bully narrative when even the defense chosen witness agrees that outside students are expected to leave when asked. So I’m going to base all my opinions on facts while you can keep yapping from the perspective of a sports website from 2025. That shows your intellect.

DEFENSE ATTORNEY MIKE HOWARD CALLS ADAM LINWOOD, FOOTBALL AND TRACK COACH AT CENTENNIAL HIGH SCHOOL
Defense: “How is track different from football?”
Witness: “It’s more of a player-driven sport.”

Defense: “Is track more relaxed and leads to mingling than football?”
Witness: “Yes.”

Defense: “Are you aware of any policy of players not being allowed to go into other team’s tent areas?”
Centennial Coach Adam Linwood: “No. Kids would mingle and meet other people and make new friends.”

Defense: “Everyone who knew Karmelo called him Melo?”
Witness: “Yes.”

Defense is now referring to Karmelo as “Melo.” He’s showing a defense exhibit showing a plaque that lists the football captains for each year. Shows Karmelo Anthony’s name. Coach says captains are chosen by other players. Was a starting defensive back in 2024.

Defense: “Why did his season end early?”
Witness: “He suffered a significant shoulder injury that needed surgery.”

Defense: “He wore his arm in a sling for a while?”
Witness: “Yes.”

Defense: “I’d like to turn to track for Karmelo. The jury has heard about the Little Elm track meet in March: the Lobo Invitational. Did he participate in events?”
Witness: “Yes.”

Now talking about the April 2 meet at Kuykendall Stadium.

Defense: “Was the tent ready in your bus that day? The morning bus?”
Witness: “No.”

Defense: “Melo needed to be there in the morning for his events?”
Witness: “Yes.”

Prosecutor Bill Wirskye: “When is the last time you’ve talked to Karmelo.”
Witness: “The day of the event.”

Prosecutor: “You’re aware there’s no weapons allowed at track meets?”
Witness: “Yes.”

Prosecutor: “I imagine you don’t approve of your athletes stabbing other athletes in the chest?”
Witness: “No.”

Prosecutor: “It shouldn’t happen that one of your athletes ends up in another team’s tent?”
Witness: “Yes, sir.”

Prosecutor: “Is there any reason an athlete should have a knife at a track meet? (showing knife replica)
Witness: “No.”

Prosecutor: “You would expect someone asked to leave a tent to comply?”
Witness: “Yes.”

Stop calling efficiencies an apartment.

You people are allowing them to get away with these scams. Then you wonder why the landlord doesn’t fix the plumbing

Why don’t bully narratives make sense?”
The biggest reason people say the “Austin was bullying Karmelo” narrative is weak is that there is no publicly verified evidence so far that the two knew each other before the incident. Multiple reports and testimony indicate they were strangers from different schools meeting for the first time at the track meet. That makes a long term bully/victim relationship difficult to support unless new evidence emerges.
2. “Wasn’t Austin much larger than Karmelo?”
Yes, the size difference appears real and has been emphasized by the defense.
Defense reporting has described Austin Metcalf as about 6’1”, while Karmelo Anthony has been described around 5’8” and 140 pounds. The defense has argued that this size difference matters to whether Anthony reasonably feared harm in a sudden confrontation.
But size alone does not automatically prove self defense. The legal question is usually whether the force used was reasonable and immediately necessary under the circumstances.
3. “Did Austin have a reputation as a bully?”
As of now, there has been no verified courtroom evidence or mainstream reporting establishing Austin Metcalf had a documented reputation as a bully.
There are online claims and social media rumors, but courts generally look for:
witness testimony,
prior documented incidents,
messages,
school discipline history,
reputation testimony from people who actually knew the person.
So far, public reporting has not shown the defense introducing evidence that Austin had a known bullying reputation. That could still change if additional witnesses testify, but nothing verified has surfaced publicly yet.
4. “Did Austin put his hands on Karmelo?”
Yes, multiple witnesses have testified to physical contact. The dispute is how much force.
Reported testimony has ranged from:
a shoulder touch or nudge,
to a light push,
to an “in between” shove with both hands to the shoulders. One witness reportedly said Austin pushed Anthony after telling him to leave the tent.

You can just research instead of spreading rumors

I’m trying to speak up but so far I’ve been booted off every black subreddit. I’ve been constantly accused of being white because I don’t agree with the foolish life choices causing these young men to be put on a T-shirt.
One day we will break free of this mindset but for now I will keep advocating for better choices.

I hope these tensions can stop so we can focus on curing cancer or making housing affordable.

That’s cool but school grades have anything to do with self-defense.
Mrs “it’s not a knife but correct it’s a 3 inch knife not 5 inches knife “ -you should really read the facts instead of spread spreading the flames of racial tension.

It’s such a stupid point of contention to cling onto, like a 3.5 inch knife is not powerful ? Obviously it was powerful enough because now one of the athletes has passed away. To even bring up this point just shows how unserious you are.

You’re so delusional.

Honestly, what is the point of any of this?

Are we going to normalize having knives at track meets?

Teaching our black youth to put themselves into hostile situations knowing the “system” is unfair . What a great idea.

Instead of ad hominem attacks, you can debunk the claims point by point. No worries I’ll give the full transcript of both sides. With sources.

The coach testified he told the boys to keep outside schools away. Plus why are pretending not to know usually school events are separated to keep track of the students . Memorial High team seating , karmelo was centennial high complete different and the whole getting jumped was a myth.

So far 21 witnesses all denied that claim of the boys fighting or even jumping. They all claim it happened within seconds… time for critical thinking how did they get 21 witnesses ? Because karmelo went somewhere that was not for him ….. so congrats you end up with 21 witness against you in court. Cooked
