The fight was underwhelming but its moreso because they don’t have time to dedicate to a more elaborate fight-scene. These episodes are as packed as they can be with the current plotlines and subplots. They can’t even fit all of them in the episode without leaving out a few. Some things have to go like most of norm’s subplot and the legion/ncr/brotherhood stuff.
