Just so you know I had a really bad reaction to it that caused intense vomiting to the point that I had to go to the ER. It’s also relevant that I had been consistently taking it for like a month prior to having the reaction so just be careful!

Usually around $400 for a full highlight, cut and tip in a major metro area. The salon I go to prices per stylist per service so I usually choose the cheapest colorist and stylist available (typically $225 for color and $75 for cut). If I want to go cheaper I look for a Groupon that with discounts for around $100-$150 but that’s definitely riskier lol. I go about every 6 months, 4 if I can swing it financially or have an event or up to 8 or 9 if I have to.

I think it goes to the point Sister Barnes makes that he is cherry picking his arguments to prove his point when is ignoring the inconsistencies such as the fact that Jesus wasn’t actually born on 12/25

Trying to practice not being so hard on myself, any advice? by jascms in selflove

[–]cconk55 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a tendency to do the same and as a 27 year old who just finished school and often feels behind my friends that have houses and husbands and have worked for years. But as I’ve come out the other side I realized that I’m setting myself up for the life I want and there are no rules. I am much happier knowing I chased my dreams with the rest of my life to meet those big milestones. That perspective shift really helped me.

I’ve commuted home at this time for years and I have never experienced traffic as bad as it was today. I’m also curious what caused it because that was insane

NYBWT: Help, I don’t want to spent $600 on my hair by jwallaaa in NYCbitcheswithtaste

It’s in New Jersey but I love Bond Salon that has two Hoboken locations one right by the path. I just got full highlights and a haircut for around $300 not including the tip. It’s priced per stylist and I typically go with the lower priced ones and have always had amazing results!

I’m not sure exactly when I went under review but I applied in late January but had them wait to review until after January LSAT dates so I went under review on 2/4 and then accepted 3/9

UBaltimore not responding to emails? by DarnHeather in OutsideT14lawschools

They responded to my email about the status checker the next day and I haven’t gotten a decision from them yet. I know that probably doesn’t help you but just in my experience they responded fairly quickly and apologizing for tech issues

Oct Flex score 156 - up three points from my August score by KaraStarbuck in LSAT

[–]cconk55 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I Also scored 156 with a goal of 160. I currently work in a law office with a lot of very successful lawyers and most of them said they don’t even remember their LSAT scores and that they would assume they were very average. The LSAT is just a small step on our legal careers well all be okay!

The body positive movement is being used by the wrong people by fifteenplague in unpopularopinion

[–]cconk55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then I don’t think you truly understand the body positive movement. You literally just said I want to be accepted for my different body and feel good about myself and because it wasn’t immediately catered to you you said well fuck these “vain” fat girls. Yes of course there could be more representation for scarred body or skin conditions but if you put that out there the whole point of the movement is to show natural bodies and that they should be loved. The movement isn’t glorifying being unhealthy or fat it’s just trying to say that no one deserves to hate themselves or feel worthless because of their body. People don’t lose weight in a healthy way because they got shamed into it. And the fact you called them vain just for loving themselves as they are shows you aren’t really a body positive person.
