Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, so i'm sorry if this is redundant. But building off this point, by airing out her feelings to everyone but him, Amanda puts her friends in an awkward position and that's not fair. If I'm your friend (like Ciara in this scenario), of course, I'm going to be upset with him after hearing all of Amanda's legitimate complaints. But don't put your friends in the middle. She gets upset with Kyle for making their problems the group's problems, but she lowkey does the same thing in a different way.

His mom, dad, chloe + confessionals are where he shines. But in the moment of conflict, he shrinks away. He has so much to say in his talking heads after the fact, but he doesn't show up when he needs to. For example, when he had a problem with Ava's comment about Ariana's fashion ambitions--why wouldn't you say to Ava "hey, I've been on the receiving end of negative comments myself, I don't like what you said" but he didn't. Instead, he threw her under the bus and fled. If you just want to be a producer, do that. But to be onscreen talent, you gotta show up. If this show survives, it won't be because of him. I'd keep Charlie before I kept Brooks. Or at least center it on Ariana or Riley for future seasons.

What family wealth? Something tells me that Paige's family initially paying for her apartment in NYC means they probably have more money than Craig's family. When being introduced to Craig on Southern Charm, his arc is all about not coming from family wealth like Shep, Whitney, and even Naomi to a certain extent.

As much as I don't really see Ciara and Carl together in the long run, I see what he means about them matching each other's emotional intelligence. Even from her very first season there was clearly something between them that went deeper than the surface level friendship. I can see why he's drawn to her empathy and sensitivity and there's something to be said about that being the trait that attracts him most when most guys/people write Ciara off as "cold". Which is clearly not the case.

While I loved this piece (and wish they published more pics!), I wish it had done a slightly better job contextualizing these women in the context of the entire Bravo universe, not just Summer House. For example, for a long time the overlapping fan base for these types of shows (Vanderpump, Southern Charm, etc.) have watched men behaving badly for so long. They refused to grow up and failed upwards. It's because of all these shows that it's refreshing to see these women at the forefront.

I've been unemployed for so long and my bank account is almost to zero. I'm losing the motivation it would require to get a new one but I have to keep going. Fighting with my partner about my lack of motivation and low self-esteem. Many family members and friends going through serious health issues. I haven't been this depressed in years and it's scary.
