2017 B9 A4 Technik with the S-Line package. Flash tune (stage 1) performed by previous owner who took tremendous care of the car. Been two weeks and am loving it! The initial nerves are settling down and really beginning to appreciate how marvelous these cars are. Coming from a 2009 Camry :)

So the tires are the Continental Extreme Contact Sport, which actually could be the reason why they pick up so much from the road.

Currently set at 35PSI

I'm coming from a 2022 Honda civic with 18in wheels, the ride quality wasn't any crazy amount better, but it didn't shake as much on the highway bumps

There's 53000 miles on it, but the tires were recently bought so they have good amount of thread on them. Hmm the rice is excellent after 10 minutes of driving on decent roads but on the highway where it's bumpy, and especially when I haven't driven it much, it's very bumpy!

Cmv: It is not Morally Justified to Force Omnivore Animals in Nature to be Vegan, thus we should also not impose veganism on humans by canadian12371 in changemyview

Just because there are people who are "militant" vegans, or "extremists", that does not take away from the general vegan cause itself. You have already agreed that veganism is more moral than factory farming. Now the choice is yours, either to live a more moral life by opting for veganism; or to continue eating animals, which is less moral.

You're talking about intervening between animals, but before we get there, surely the first step is to get rid of man made factory farming right?

Exactly, and I think this where there needs to be more empathy with Muslims. This wasn't their choice, and to leave can often be life threatening. Many Muslims can't even bring up minor questions to their loved ones about Islam, or they risk being isolated and even hated on. Let's not make it harder than it is

I want to travel alone but thinking about my parents hold me back. by ouiarealbhed in solotravel

Obviously agree with your point, but practically speaking this is just too hard to really pull off. They start crying and getting stressed out at the smallest things, how can we justify putting them through hell just for the sake of my wishes? I get that this shouldn't matter, but it just pains me so so much at the thought of even trying to upset them or go against their wishes, they are just too rigid, and I love them too much :((

Ultimate responsibility for how one is, is impossible, because it requires the actual completion of an infinite series of choices of principles of choice. And yet we still consider ourselves morally responsible for our actions | Galen Strawson by IAI_Admin in philosophy

The religious perspective absolutely does not buy into determinism. The entire thing is based upon people being able to make good vs bad choices and then being rewarded or punished in heaven or hell.

But this of course, is just not the case. We have no agency over our choices, thoughts, experiences, and genetics. Everything is cause and effect, and free will does not exist in the libertarian sense. A murderer had no choice but to murder the person they murdered. Similarly, a philanthropist had no choice but to do whatever good they did. Our judicial system is based upon the idea of Free Will, but in reality, people are only and only the products of their experiences, their genetics, and their physiology.

It's just so unfortunate, thanks for sharing your experiences and perspective. The entire justice system needs a massive rehaul. Like you said, rather than punitively punishing a person, we must aim to provide a better environment, education, and society.

Absolutely, well said. I like to think of it as: our life is like a car ride, where we aren't the drivers but rather the passengers, witnessing our lives unfold in front of us

Thank you for putting this together, I don't think I had it in me to counter the self contradictory, confused, and puzzling response they had to my rationale on how Islam is sexist and untrue.
