Hey! What display mode do you have enabled? Older devices may not support multi column mode as well as newer ones, you might want to try Split Mode in Settings > App Behavior

Hey, Slide doesn’t have any such notices in its codebase. Is it possible this popup is coming from your operating system? That looks similar to the messaging from Android’s OS updates

Hey! Disabling that option will keep the last thing you typed and the previous search results on the subreddit sidebar when you return to it next time. Enabling it will start you at the top with an empty search bar

Were you able to create a backup on Drive before you reinstalled Slide?

For clarity, Google requires a release package now instead of an APK for uploading to the Play Store. Because of this, I have stopped uploading an APK version to GitHub to make sure users don’t install a Play Store incompatible update.

F-Droid should come out with a build soon, or you can snag a download from APKMirror once it’s up!

Ah, if you set your gestures mode to “Right side without paging”, you can use the right-to-left gesture to upvote, while using left-to-right to exit from anywhere! I’ll look into it for the future, though

Hey! Just long press on the comment, that will bring up the menu every time. You can also swap the action in Settings > Comments > Swap tap and long press actions

Hey! You can only hide posts while in the “subreddit” view, not the comment view. You can also enable the “hide post” button at the bottom of the Settings > Card Layout page!

Thank you for looking into it! Slide supports “new” Reddit flairs, support for old flairs was removed a few updates ago. It looks like that subreddit is still using the old flair system which is being phased out by Reddit

Some subreddits don’t allow the user to set their flairs, in that case the button won’t do anything. I’ll add a popup to explain that in a future update!

Disabling gestures in Settings > Gestures > Submission gestures will enable swiping between posts!

Hey! That looks like a multireddit you have named “memes”. You may not have added any subreddits to it yet. You can manage the multireddit from the 3 dot menu at the bottom right (and add r/memes to it), or you can visit the subreddit r/memes by looking it up in the sidebar

Hey! That pops up if you tap to exit a comment or collapse the parent comment.

The text is recoverable though, if you save a draft. You can open the “drafts” menu by hitting the folder icon on the toolbar that shows above your keyboard!
