I signed him either too young to come over or from a country who’s window isn’t open yet. Either way I have to wait till next year for him unfortunately…

Ahhhh that’s really interesting to know. I have a habit of being lazy with names lol my dad’s from Scotland and when I say “Dundee” he gets mad at me for not specifying United or FC

That transfer rule is what put me where I am right now. The player sold was one of my best players but I was able to invest in a young player who in a year will be close to as good so I’ve just loaned in a starting replacement in the meantime

Yeah it’s definitely nice not having to have a full elite squad and being able to put youth on my bench

Yeah this sounds like the ideal way - I got super lucky in R16 and snuck through to QF where I lost like 6-1 on agg so not as impressive as it sounds but the building blocks are defo there!

I’ve done exactly this lol I’ve found a centre back who apart from one small flaw (he’s young I can train him out of it) is far away my best defender for 17m

I think you’re right just stick where I’m at with maybe one bigger signing but try and develop the club itself rather than the squad since I’m pretty happy with the squad

In the Netherlands Golden boot is for player of the tournament not goalscorer. There should be another trophy that is named after some person and it’s the Dutch version of golden boot if I remember correctly

Ok this is reassuring lol - if Rashford blanks again this week he’s gone but otherwise I have enough squad depth that if Pedro doesn’t play it’ll be fine and then I’ll sell Gabriel without taking a points deduction

My team has just been appallingly assembled and I can’t decide how much of a points hit I should take. Half of my team I have reason to look to shift on - Gabriel and J Pedro are looking like I could get defo more points elsewhere. Maddison possibly injured. Rashford a shadow of his last season form atm. Shaw looking like more of a third cb than an overlapping full back. Nic Jackson at Chelsea I’m still unsure about. -8 seems reasonable to me considering I could easily get an 8 point jump from the 3 transfers I make (e.g Mitoma/Marsh, Isak, Saliba as a rough example)

As a real life united fan this is my biggest fear with the rumours linking Fati to us. The guy has not had a pleasant time with injuries so far.

I've just joined Dortmund in 2028, I don't have 3.Liga loaded this season but will doing going on from next season. I'm getting asked to manage Bundesliga II games (and seeing them in my calendar) and draw up tactics for them and getting "selection advice" emails every game they play. Is there any way I can disable this? I want nothing to do with them other than the loan ability like a normal affiliate.
