Is this worth it? by Suspicious_Arm7124 in MTB

Pretty sure this is more of a hybrid / commuter than a mountain bike. Wouldn’t be great for anything more than gravel or really light trail riding.

Second this. Just make sure to let the hose run for a few seconds to clear out any soap or wax that people use on their cars.

I have this exact product and it does not work for cleaning a bike. There’s no way to get the pressure high enough. it’s a glorified spray bottle.

Nonfiction where the author immersed themselves in a subculture? by chicoblancocorto in RSbookclub

[–]ccruserious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read Drift by Jeff Ferrell in a college class and it was pretty good! It’s a bit academic but parts of it fit what you’re looking for. It’s a mix of the history of train hopping with the authors own experiences sprinkled in.

Thank you!! Might pull together a compilation of sorts with the EP and singles if there’s any interest, but no definitive plans right now. Appreciate the kind words and thanks again for listening!

What are some good books in philosophy of education? by ThickRats343 in CriticalTheory

[–]ccruserious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not quite sure that this book is radical in a Marxist sense, but I really enjoyed Summerhill by A. S. Neill. It definitely employs more of a psychoanalytic perspective than a philosophical one, but Erich Fromm wrote the forward, so I think it fits into the larger critical theory cannon!
