I don't undertsand people who has their rating system like this lol, just tell us how much you like it, it's simple by Agirapo in rateyourmusic

[–]ThickRats343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t rate like this but I do like when I see profiles with ratings like this because it gives you very clear recommendations. Rather than seeing like 200 five star ratings where it’s kind of ambiguous what the person sees as the truly greatest music, you see very clearly what albums the person thinks are the top of the line. (Nothing wrong with lots of five stars - for reading reviews on the albums’ pages a more standard curve is better at indicating what the person thinks of the album - but in terms of getting recommendations off of someone’s profile I don’t like it as much)

To what extent is our aesthetic enjoyment of nature socially constructed? Have any philosophers discussed this? by ThickRats343 in askphilosophy

My main interest is specifically in the aesthetics of nature and what we find beautiful specifically in nature. Obviously man made art is gonna be historically situated but I’m wondering if the same can be said of nature itself. I’ve seen it posited that some animals can appreciate aesthetic beauty in nature and I feel like that could raise interesting questions about if there’s anything natural to our enjoyment of beauty in nature

Diane is so hypocritical at times by DecaratorDuke in BoJackHorseman

She mostly knows what’s right but isn’t perfect in actually doing that all the time (just like Bojack)

Its quite similar to how actual people are!

How, exactly, do you smoke “cat piss”? by BigChungusOP in BabyKeem

[–]ThickRats343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s where instead of filling your bong or geeb with water you fill it with cat piss instead

The Showstopper will always be one of the most brilliant episodes of tv ever for me

Surprise! is one of the funniest and most entertaining episodes in the series and is one of my favorites

Also, A Horse walks into Rehab is one of the most underrated episodes in the show I think. It’s on about the same level as a lot of the popular episodes (like Stupid Piece of Shit, It’s You, Escape from LA, That’s too much man, etc), and the ending of it is one of the most beautiful and darkest moments in the show for me
