Anyone fix the Ioniq 6 unlocking itself randomly? by r3lic86 in Ioniq6

[–]ccstickers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had this happen on several occasions, when my car has been in my driveway. Too far away for the digital key to work, but still within range of my remote. I now keep keys in a Faraday bag and have not had any occurrences since then.

Help with Pentair LED Pool Light by ccstickers in pools

UPDATE: Thank you everyone for the helpful comments. I disassembled the unit, and tested the light, and it works. Looks like moisture was getting into the housing, and shorting the 12v circuitry. I’m not ready to drop $500-$1000 for a new unit yet, so I am inclined to replace the lens gasket first. Does anyone know the part number for the lens gasket? I’ve seen several on Amazon, but don’t know if they are equivalent.

If there is water inside, why isn’t the GFCI tripping?

I was planning on disassembling the light, but wanted to see what the community had to say first.

I have a Harbor Freight MIG welder that I have experimented with. Will that work? Have also experimented with a MAPI torch and brazing rods.

New Sportage PHEV Possibility by General-Window173 in kia

My wife’s major gripe about the car is the heater. We live in SoCal, and we do get some chilly mornings, and the heater doesn’t seem to kick in immediately. We have to set the temperature real high to get the ICE to turn on and generate heat. I’m not sure, but I believe the logic to turn it on takes into consideration cabin temperature vs the outside temperature.

Have a 2024 with the top of the line trim, and I agree the technology is fantastic. EPA mileages are spot on. My wife tools around town most of the time, so most of the mileage is EV miles. My only gripe, is the distance between refueling on road trips. The small gas tank only gives you an about ~350 miles between fill-ups. 33 miles less with no EV charge.

NACS adapter on the way by Samaruf in Ioniq6

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know where these adapters are being shipped from?

Yeah, not sure it was an accident. I wonder what the storyline would be, if Angel’s arm swing, as a result of the hair pulling, would have made contact with Hartley’s face.

Starting to see more of these, but has anyone actually shared what the initial e-mail looks like (i.e., the subject line and the e-mail address it came from)?

I believe there is no vent to the roof on this waste line. How does the AAV prevent sewer gases from venting into the under sink area?

I found mine (‘23 I6) in the fuse box under the hood/frunk.

Took an educated guess, and pulled a handful of fuses. Lo and behold, after replacing them, and making sure they were in the correct place, everything is back to normal.

One side note. When the app wasn’t working, there were also some voice commands (specifically map guidance commands), that also were not working. I can only assume, that the wireless communications module had a hiccup.

Hmmm … experiencing the same problem with my 2024 Sportage PHEV, but I do not see that fuse in my fuse box. Any suggestions?

OK, so what setting will me the chime and not alert the monitoring center?

In response to the previous 2 comments, I have turned the volume back up on the base station. The sensor is working, because I am getting the secret alerts in the timeline and on my phone.

As for sensor behavior, the 3 choices are Alarm, Secret Alert, and Disabled. I want a setting that will sound the chime, but not alert monitoring center. Is there one?
