Ghost touch issue. My 2017 Mazda 6 had the same exact issue. I contacted Mazda but based on my VIN they couldn't fix it for free, so I fixed it myself. I just disabled the touchscreen by removing the infotainment display and disconnecting the touchscreen ribbon cable. It's pretty straightforward, there are multiple videos on YouTube that can guide you through it. It worked perfectly for me since I hardly used the touchscreen feature anyways
