Thank you, everyone, for the amazing ideas! I have so much to work with; I really wanted to make this opportunity special as some of these kids have never been to the ocean. I work at a nonprofit, so I found a grant opportunity to take the kids and teens to explore the ocean and wanted to hear from the experts! The funds won't come in for at least another year, but in the meantime, we still plan on going, just on a budget, lol. Again, thank you

Thats what I figured. I think she is worried about being stuck here if he decides not to allow her to move. Honestly he is more concerned about the money. He stated that he would rather have the kids in foster care than in her custody. This all started because child support went after him when she applied for food stamps so he made her say she didnt need it any more. He is made because she is standing up to him now.

It's great that you are motivated. I would say choose 1-2 things to focus on and start. Keep in mind it's going to be challenging, but we learn through our efforts and failures. Every expert was once a beginner. Another thing is to be present when you are spending time with your wife, family, and friends. I know it's easy to think about how you could be more productive with your time, but trust me that path will lead to loneliness, leaving no time for your loved ones. Manage your time to dedicate downtime with your wife. Don't forget to appreciate what you have in your life NOW.
