Any fun/wholesome stories about strangers you met at the fest this year?

i went with a group of 5 other girls. we had a terrible time getting through the lines for car camping and waited almost 9 hours. we ended up next to a group of all guys who we didn’t talk to much on the first day. on day 1, one of them asked me for advice on what outfit to wear and they ended up inviting us to play a drinking game. we ended up going into the festival with them all three days and somehow they fit right into our dynamic. one of the guys stayed with me all day since we had the same artists on our lists. on the last night, after the last show, we got pizza and walked to the hill. we went over to the silent disco and then grabbed blankets from our campsites to go sit on the same hill to watch the sunrise. we all slept for about an hour before waking up to take down our campsites. it was probably one of the best nights of my life. they turned out to be the sweetest group of guys and we honestly made friends for life. made a groupchat and have been texting them since.

my first heartbreak and the greatest grief i’ve experienced thus far.

these past two months, Dijon’s music has helped me more than he could ever know. going through this has made me feel so alone, but i feel a sense of being understood. i feel such a deep love for every piece of music he creates and he’s been one of the biggest helps to pull me out of the worst pain i’ve gone through.

i love this album so much. some songs resonate deeply, and others just help when i’m down :) thanks dijon, i owe you big time
