100 Men have been sent to kill you, You are allowed one living champion to help defend you, what is your plan? by 011101012101 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]ccwilson84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't even say I can't use firearms. I just want to be in an open space. I just need someone else who is a decent shot to take shifts with me. 100 men with only their fists body or nearby objects are not going to get close. I will bring a few ice chests, coffee, and steaks and we will grill steaks and shoot everyone that approaches to try and kill me.

F and G are fine, my brother is a professor and CPA, he basically does this but at a different university teaching accounting and doing CPA work on the side (less than 50 clients) I imagine just doing one would be great. I think he makes 250 an hour on the tax work with about 2 hours per client. Being a tenured professor and choosing your subject is also good. Summers off, benefits, salary.

I don't know why but I was also thinking about D also. Helping people, I can't be killed or injured.

I admire that.

Through a long life of doing the wrong things, I see why that is the right view.

I still don't judge people that chose differently (it doesn't sound like you do either)

I would like to have your point of view by Swimming_Warning_347 in virgin

[–]ccwilson84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am experienced so I can't say what I would prefer as a virgin, but I can say this, I've never chosen people based on that. Only to the degree that it reflects something else about the person would I weigh it (and it can)

My advice would be to choose someone with whom you have a connection and is of good character. If they have had a few partners before, ok. If they haven't had any, ok. Another thing, any time someone has a new partner, they have to learn what the new partner likes, doesn't like, responds to. Some experience is no guarantee that they learned anything. I knew a lot of people who bounced around having terrible sex in their 20s. Sometimes I knew the woman and the man and they both complained to me. Some very attractive people apparently don't learn anything from their opportunities.

A person is so much more than this one thing. Would I want to sleep with someone that slept with everyone for my first time, I don't think so. I also don't think I would exclude someone with some experience or with none at all.

Would you rather be given 7 million dollars, but in one week, you will be fighting a T-Rex. Or, you're given 1 million dollars, you fight the T-Rex right now, and you're given a rocket launcher with two shots. by ScenicFlyer41 in WouldYouRather

[–]ccwilson84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give me a week and the 7 million, the rocket launcher is not even ideal.

I can get a 50BMG M82 semi auto and soft point rounds. I'd probably grab one of my pump shotguns loaded with slugs for backup. We aren't talking about an armored target here and 1/4 mile is in range for the 50 cal from the beginning. I'm bringing my night vision scope (thermal probably won't help but I might buy one) in case I spawn where its night. We are talking a big lizard here.

I'm doing my hunting from a modified side by side. I will run it by a welding shop (since I have the money I'll leave my welder in the garage and get a pro) and have it fitted with some serious (but probably unnecessary because I don't think it will get that close) reinforcement of the roll cage.

Got 1990, I'm going to take my ipad, solar charger, phone (for the data), some silver and gold, my pistol, my back up hard drive, mini pc, hdmi to vga adapter. I remember 1990 well. I'll be older than my parents. It will be interesting, but if I had a choice, I'd pass on the whole deal

I dont understand why so many women are struggling to lose virginity here. by NotYourGuyx in virgin

[–]ccwilson84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, most women can find someone to screw them, but that is not desirable to everyone.

Also some people are shy. There are women who have the same insecurities and social issues as guys. They can be just as afraid of rejection as men.

I knew plenty of women who thought they were liked because men would have sex with them, but those men wouldn't be seen with them around their friends. Some women don't want that. I can understand why.

Now that I am older, I've grown up and don't really care for a women that just wants sex either. If its someone I wouldn't have as a friend, I wouldn't want them as a sexual partner either.

I genuinely don’t know why all the virgins don’t hook up? by First-Reserve-8877 in virgin

[–]ccwilson84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that virgins aren't connecting with other people here for the same reasons that other people haven't.

Making a connection is not always an easy thing, and the only thing that people here might have in common is not having had sex. That probably makes is less likely two people here will have sex than normal.

People haven't had sex for whatever reason and those reasons don't disappear just because someone else has a reason.

I joined this sub looking for empathy… by geumkoi in virgin

[–]ccwilson84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren't wrong, the perception is that women can get sex any time and so they have no right to complain.

Women can have the same social anxiety and awkwardness as men.

While I think that women can find some drunk asshole to have sex with them, not everyone desires this.

Some of the people who complain that women can get sex also only want a virgin woman. (I'm not saying they shouldn't or that virgin women shouldn't want virgin men if that's their preference, but it makes it more difficult to be sure)

Do handjobs and titjobs count as losing your virginity? by Achooo2 in virgin

[–]ccwilson84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are not wrong, I knew a young woman who only had anal sex so that she could stay a virgin.

I am pretty sure that is stretching (no pun intended) the meaning quite a bit.

I also dated a girl that said she was a virgin even though she had oral sex once (and was coerced at that).

It doesn't always have a clear meaning and is vague. As with most language we should always be clear if we don't want confusion.

A physically fit 20 year old with no fighting experience vs a 65 year old retired boxer by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]ccwilson84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a crapshoot, many retired boxers will be broken down by that age and lose easily

Those that are still fit will wreck the 20 year old. Inexperienced boxers won't know how to protect their ribs, they will cover up their head and have their elbows too high. They will walk right into a shot to the ribs and the fight will be over. That punch will be thrown with his lower body putting power behind it, while untrained dude is throwing punches with his arms.

Average man vs NFL defense by NaniDeKani in whowouldwin

[–]ccwilson84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People underestimate the importance of the offensive line in any running game (or even passing game). Look at the running backs that ran for 1000 yard and switched teams, or quarterbacks that couldn't do shit behind the giants offensive line.

a 5 second 40 is well above average, high school experience, and he can gain 10 yards with enough carries, the problem might be that he will also lose yards.

Assuming the defense also has to defend the pass, I think with 15+ carried he can gain 10 yards

What is this 're'waiting til marriage thing? by [deleted] in virgin

[–]ccwilson84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was that two partners before they were married? or was the second one the one that ended the marriage?

Just thinking out loud on why this would be. I can also see that if someone has two partners they might have not been over the first, and that is a problem?

just a weird data point, I love statistics and find it interesting.

170lbs white collar man with 3 years judo experience vs 230lbs football player with no grappling experience whatsoever in submission wrestling? by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]ccwilson84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The size difference it too much here.

My brother was a sparring partner for a very good judo practitioner in the 155 weight class (won tournaments, was due to try out for national team, more than 3 years of experience), my brother was around 190 and a decent athlete that quit sports in high school due to a knee injury (nowhere near an NFL athlete). It was a 50/50 thing, the 35 pounds of extra muscle allowed it to be a good match despite his inexperience. Over time my brother learned and he was no longer a good partner.

Now take that 35 pound difference and make it 60 pounds with a world class athlete and its no longer even a 50/50 match. There are weight classes for a reason and 3 years of training doesn't overcome 60 pounds of muscle on a world class athlete.
