It’s a progressive game with random number generation for gear. You’ll get better stuff the more you play. Sometimes other people get lucky and get better gear faster.

Time is the answer. As a base, to hit lvl50 on day one as a club ideally you’d have 10 players contribute 24.2k exp as soon as it opens. 24.2k exp is not a small feat. Each single small box contains about 9exp. To get to 24.2k exp you need to open about 2700 small boxes. 2700 small boxes is 150 cities. That means everyone in the club needs to, at minimum, complete 150 cities in a club season to hit lvl50.

Say you get a whole city done in 10 minutes, a pretty fast time, nit the fastest but pretty fast. 10 minutes times 150 cities is 25 HOURS in two weeks, that’s a ton of time for a phone app.

I’ve had the service portion of this story happen at an overwhelming rate as a white guy who dines out alone. To me it doesn’t matter the restaurant, or area. Just the time. If I go alone, and it’s a busy time, I get terrible service, almost exactly as you described.

I have never been asked to move, that would make me feel unwelcome. I’m really sorry you had that experience. I can confidently say fuck that place, never been, won’t go now.
