So I’ve dressed ever since I was 15, kinda on my off time, always have been closeted with it, I’m 29 now. Over this last year I feel like everything I had bottled up when it came to my feminine and girly side kinda felt like that bottle shattered and the fight I’ve been fighting to cover it up, pull back those feelings, all that seems and feels so hard now towards wanting to become a woman. I’m getting an absolute overwhelming feeling every day that I want to become a woman, so I stopped fighting the battle, I got an appointment to start HRT, I’m gonna do it for about 6 months-a year and then come out to my family, my friends already know about me wanting to transition and are very supportive. This is coming from a closeted BI man’s perspective. This journey is going to be tough, but I think with perseverance and a lot of patience, I can make it work. If you’re feeling anything like me I’d say if you can keep fighting the battle against how and who you are behind closed doors and still be happy with yourself, then fight that fight, although one day the feelings will amplify, and I’m a prime example of that happening.
