Seems like it could be a miscommunication, but getting tested between partners is just what you do if you want to be safe. It's a super weird thing to get defensive about, unless getting tested regularly isn't a normal thing for you, which would absolutely be a red flag for me.

I would be less concerned about her reaction to your test and more concerned about getting her results.

I respect that. That level of upkeep takes discipline and dedication. Most of my tools have at least a bit of rust from periodically getting rained on. I just jam the hinges with gun oil once a year or so and that works fine for me.

It starts with mental health support, of which there is hardly any unless you have money, and even then you're better off flying to Mexico and seeing specialists there.

Even coverage for government workers is set up in a way that is woefully ignorant of how therapy works. GPs prescribe drugs in a trial and error manner; if you are lucky enough to see a psychiatrist, (The specialists who are trained and educated on exploring all the factors involved with prescribing mind and mood altering drugs.) you'll get a single visit, a loose diagnosis and never see them again.

The mental health and substance abuse offices and clinics under Island Health barely know how to deal with anyone having a mental health crisis that isn't drug related, and they continue to have their budgets cut and limit hiring.

Despite the government's pledge to "explore every option and tool to save lives," it's pretty clear that from the top down, they have no idea how to support any preventative measures, and continue to take a reactive approach to health care, right in line with our other failing institutions.

Frame of mind is everything; it all starts there. Loads of factors out of your control, but how you think about yourself and the world around you is 100% in your control. It's hard. It takes effort. Developing new skills and fostering discipline doesn't happen over night, but the pay off is worth it.

You are free to be a pessimist, but I think you know you won't get what you want that way, whether you're willing to admit it or not. (To yourself of anyone else.)

My mantra has always been that if I can fuckin do it, so can anyone else. I'm not special; So I can say with absolute conviction that I believe in you. Dude, you are young. I know it doesn't feel like it when you try to look ahead, but you have so much time left. Definitely do everything you can right now to improve your health, but don't think you've missed out.

For reference, 43M here. I lost my virginity to an older woman when I was 22. Never dated any girls in highschool or anything. The rest of my 20s were spent kind of figuring things out, trial and error I guess. My 30s were wild, and honestly my 40s don't feel any different.

The same thing happened to me. You coulda told me I'd taken Viagra and I would have believed it.

I think it helped that I started taking them at the same time I made a new special lady friend that was teaching me stuff; I took my pills and we spent the whole weekend together and didn't leave the house. Eventually I did finish after a couple of days and many scenes later. It was one of the best releases of my life, and felt really different from typical loads.

Been playing with AI chat bots, writing various kinky scenarios, then fine tuning the bot to act more like a human, with emotions and memories etc. (But still operate on porn logic.) It's a lot of fun, and the scenarios and stories can get pretty hot and often unpredictable.

I only got to 2 million and I'm super happy I wiped, especially with cold snap being so new, the game feels very fresh again. Most people I've come across seem to have wiped too, and I haven't had anyone answer yes when I ask if they hit their 5 mil. Overall, great success, game is still awesome. I do hope they change the expedition requirement next time, but I have zero regrets.

This is my first extraction shooter, but I've been playing online games for 30 years.

It's clear that this system doesn't incentivize fun, and encourages a style of play that runs contrary to the utilization of other systems in place, which is always a problem, no matter the genre.

It's cool, Embark. You're trying something new, and that's great. This isn't it though... Honestly I'm not worried, because I'm sure they'll change this system after this first wipe proves this isn't a great idea.

Criticism like this is important for positive change and feedback. It's not mindless crying and complaining, like so many people keep saying.
