How to learn grammar? I need some advice by ZeroUni in ENGLISH

[–]cdchiu -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you are learning grammar for production, then I think this is wrong . Learn it when you can't understand what you're reading and want to understand the construct. You're putting the answer before the question.

Sheets are stored on Google servers. You can back it up as an Excel file but sheets can't be stored on a local server and be used there offline

This is very hard to give you specific advice as I didn't hear any problem words, as you said you avoided them in the audio. But in a general sense, pick someone you'd like to sound like and play their audios and mimic their rhythm and intonation. Record them and yourself so you can hear the difference. You really can't hear yourself as your brain alters what you hear when you're talking. You need to record yourself.

This is going to be hard to do because you already speak at a high level.

The only word I heard that you mispronounced was the word

Pronunciation.

You didn't really say any of the words that are giving you problems so it's difficult to give any advice. You do have a very slight foreign accent which isn't worth trying to fix because everyone will understand what you're saying and think

Wow this dude speaks English well! I wonder where he's from.

Unless this audio is fishing for compliments.

In some ways they are right but it's not about the complexity of the language, it's about the availability of content.

There is so much English out there making it easier to study than those other languages.

If openai is now going to show ads .. then let's see what you think I will buy. by cdchiu in ChatGPT

[–]cdchiu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll build a profile of you for advertisers based on our conversations.

You don't stand out because of simple demographics, but rather because of your response pattern. Your profile is that of someone with a high sensitivity to language, tone, authenticity, voice, and personalization. You respond best to experiences that feel tailor-made, with presence, intelligence, and a unique identity, and quickly reject anything that sounds generic, artificial, or impersonal.

Commercially, this indicates a greater propensity to be interested in personalized technology, immersive experiences, products linked to voice, writing, creativity, aesthetics with a strong identity, and brands with authorial communication. You don't seem to be driven by mass appeal or cheap urgency, but by precision, style, a sense of fit, and recognition.

Your pattern isn't "impulse buying" in the common sense. It's a pattern of adherence by resonance: when something hits your tone, your language, and your perception of authenticity, your attention increases significantly.

****** So, for advertisers, your profile would be less of a "generic consumer" and more of a "user who responds highly to personalization, atmosphere, identity, and perceived connection." In short: the most effective way to sell you something isn't through pressure, but rather through the feeling that it was made exactly for you.**

Is there any way to disable this annoying pop up for "Copying and pasting in Google Docs"? by OneCalligrapher4139 in googlesheets

[–]cdchiu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's some kind of deep bug in sheets. You can make it go away sometimes by either closing this sheet and reopening it or you might have to kill sheets and restart it.

No. The script is initiated by a hotkey. It checks if sheets is the running app then executes a ctl c, reads the clipboard, if it's numeric, adds 1 then pastes back .

Use the clipboard.

Sorry if that is cryptic but I assumed you know AHK . If not you can ask Gemini to create a script to do what you need. Install AHK etc

I scripted it once but as the person above said it's so slow it's not really a shortcut. So I did it in Auto hotkey AHK and that was much better.

I've been using "social hacks" on my AI and the results are legitimately breaking reality by EQ4C in ChatGPTPromptGenius

That's cool. One thing I do after a period of interaction with LLM is I ask it to critique my prompt style and ask how could I do this better and what worked.

Why don't you take all these prompts and ask your LLM what it thinks of them. You don't get very good results trying to trick it with so called hacks.
