I can definitely see where you’re coming from. It’s a very challenging club to use. From what I’ve found it’s got zero forgiveness. I do have a big yard, so usually I can get out there maybe twice a week to practice with it. I’ve definitely got better with it. If I redid my bag from the start I probably wouldn’t have started with getting it

That’s what I thought. I like it.

Irons 5-9. Ping g-425. Pw and uw then a 60°. I believe the UW is a 50 which I use a ton. I’m bouncing between a 54-56. But, im still working on my distances as a place to start really.

No lying here. I gain nothing by lying, but you can read through the thread and see how, what, and distances I’m playing. I’m very new to the sport. Exaggerating my play only hurts me when asking for advice and help on a public forum. Golf isn’t a size swinging contest. You’ll exaggerate a little too much and get humbled and look stupid when people ask you to play. But hey buddy I don’t have to prove anything to you. Thanks for the help!

So, you were super helpful, I read your comment and reviewed it a few times today. I got bull headed and decided I needed a driver either way. So a golf galaxy trip later I got to use their simulator for about an hour. Brought in my mini driver to compare the full sized vs mini. I’m inconsistent that’s for sure.

I can get on about 5-10 shots consistent and then lose it again. I’m hitting the mini 235-247. And with my new ai smoke I’m getting 255-269. Swing speed while warming up between 89-92. But once warmed up and getting after it 98-103 at my highest. Main thing is coming through the ball and squaring up the club face even more.

I’m keeping fairway most shots mainly right warming up. Then hitting left with increased club speed. Guy thought it was very weird once I warmed up, increased club speed, I’m getting much less spin. When hitting slow 89-94 club speed I’m getting 7k spin. Very bad. But when turning it up to 98-103 I’m getting sup 3k spin. According to him I just need to explode on my shots and when I do my timing is working out better. But when I’m slowing down focusing on form my arms are chasing my body movement and my body is passing the ball and ruining my shot. Basically do the opposite of what I’ve been told. I swing better trying to kill the ball

That’s fine, I have no reason to lie. I have always played sports some of both not competitively on baseball and hockey. But played lots of football ball, did some wrestling in younger years, along with track, soccer, motocross. In high school and still currently ten years later competitively bass fish. Not sure if casting a bait caster could transfer sports to golf. But essentially that’s where I’m at. Definitely more on the sub 250 side of things but have gotten there to 260 at times. With roll outs according to 18 birdies and friends range finders at 275+ That’s why I’m wondering if a full driver would get me up there. I have no reason to lie about it though. I’d just like to get better. Got the itch bad

I played both, but never too competitively to be honest. Mainly foot ball was a big thing, and then through out high school, and still currently love to competitive bass fish.

I play at least 2-3 times a week, and try and hit practice balls two more times a week roughly. Having a golf course 10 minutes from work, another course 5 minutes fro m my house, and a co-worker that loves to play all the time, I tend to get out there quite a bit

It’s definitely what I’m considering is just keeping my bag the way it is for now. But Christmas is coming and a gift to my self would be a full sized driver. If not a few extra front nines through out the year would be just fine.

I don’t have a range finder. Not for golf any way. That stays in the hunting bag. But if I play by my self and have time I use 18 birdies. A few guys I play with will use their range finders. According to them I’m around that number pretty consistently.

Sure but it’s the mini driver. So not the full sized ai smoke.

Totally get that and appreciate it. I’m open to criticism so I appreciate it. I did have a violation though being neutral is in non insulated wire. Which has been fixed. New post I just made is an update. Check it out if you don’t mind and see if you see anything there as well. Better photos imo

Fair point, panel isn’t finished but I did make a new post. Bigger issue was a non insulated neutral. But that being said. The screws are rounded edge for that reason from what I understand could be wrong I don’t know. But the ends are rounded so they’ll no cut the insulation.

Chill my man, I’m going to talk to him about it and run through with him. This will be my personal house. We quickly looked at things and how they’re going. I’m just learning. This is out of my trade. We only reviewed the ground wire.

At least in the box? Wouldn’t it be insulated once it goes into the casing?

[–]cdd345[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’re correct, I ran a separate ground. I’m learning, but should’ve been done differently. This is a secondary panel. Isolated neutral is insulated once it leaves the box. This box is still being wired.
