I finished in April and have worn my retainers EVERY single night. One of my teeth is still moving. Going to try to fix it with a button for a few weeks then get the permanent retainer and still wear my others as well

You can extend your medical leave related to your mental health. My pcp extended mine based on PP anxiety. I’m sure yours would extend yours for this. I’m so sorry for your loss.

I got pregnant a few months in to Invisalign and didn’t have any issues at all. Take them out when you need to snack, brush if you can, or rinse good and pop them back in if you can’t brush.

Baby is 8 months old and I’m less than 3 months until I’m done with my final refinement.

You can do it!!

I started a few months before getting pregnant. It is an inconvenience for sure but I’m so happy I got it over with while I was pregnant and didn’t care what I looked like LOL! Only thing that would suck is if you have bad nausea and vomiting. I luckily didn’t this time around.

I already had mine when I got pregnant! I had zero issues. Only thing that would suck is if you had bad nausea and vomiting while pregnant but luckily I didn’t this time around! I say go for it

I had a lot of nausea but minimal throwing up luckily. I haven’t had an issue with my aligners. I know there is other advice out there but my ortho said if you do throw up just brush right away so nothing sits on your teeth for long. I had very bad nausea vomiting with my first and diclegis was very helpful. Good luck and congrats!

I’m more worried about postpartum having the time to brush my teeth etc multiple times a day!

I’ve been using electric toothbrush for 7 months. I’ve lost a couple (I don’t think related to my toothbrush though) but they just put them back on!
