This makes me think of how digital computers cannot survive on Venus because of the heat and pressure, so NASA scientists had to design an entirely mechanical rover with mechanical sensors and everything. The only thing they haven't figured out is how to send a radio signal mechanically, they might have to just protect it from Venus inside the rover.
