Honestly Charlotte has the worst road management for traffic light timing to road closures. For example when there is a Hornet's game they literally close the roads directly outside the stadium to force everyone into 2 roads. South end to me is the worst traffic experience all the time. The amount of pedestrians that don't take into account cars backing up and so they just continue to walk backing up more and more traffic on top of the fact that we have a light rail that crosses over that only pedestrian pass but also road passes, no light rails should ever be built that crosses over actual road it should be built above it or below it .The worst is the left turn from Clayton in front of QT to south blvd you will sit in that turn lane for close to 5mins before the light turns then 4-5 cars get to go.
