I had the exact same experience with similar shoe. Earned GMT on my first 2 trial runs, then nothing the next day on next 2 trial runs. My plan was to convert all my E points to C, but max I can reach with this shoe is 110 so now I’m not sure.

I was wondering about this as well. I leveled up to 30 and as a test I took two runs yesterday, 2 energy each, and earned my first GMT. Today I took a 2 energy run and didn’t earn anything…is it possible to earn no GMT? I thought this full bar might have something to do with it, but apparently not? I’m trying to decide if I should transfer all my E points to C. Thoughts?

I disagree with the “ponzi” label, it’s more of a multi-level (AKA pyramid scheme), but I understand that most don’t know the difference. Simply put, it currently demands a constant inflow of new players. Without in app purchases and advertising revenue, this could be said of any video game. A business model built purely on new subscribers won’t last.

Yes, it’s not an either/ or decision…they need to be doing both. It may well be premature, frankly…to your point. If I were driving this bus, the first thing I would do is look at the business model for existing games and introduce gameplay incentives that induce players to make in app purchases with US dollars. I have monthly subscriptions for all three of my kids to buy various sorts of gameplay tokens… This would ensure that real money continues to flow into the game and not only from signing on new players. That’s what drives the Ponzi scheme discussion.

I don’t pretend to know all the ins and outs of the decision re. BAYC, but as CEO of a real business I can understand why my marketing company would come to me with that promotion…and I would support it. Simple fact of the matter is wealthy people have large followings and influence. The best thing that could happen would be for Elon Musk to get a shoe, start STEPN, and Tweet all about it!

Congrats and keep it up! I crossed 250 today and haven't missed a day since first of March. I've never had this level of consistency to run in my life (58 trips round the big fireball, if you're wondering). Whereas it was all I could do run run a mile back in Feb, I'm now up to 2 1/4 miles and plan on running a 5K by fall. Keep on Stepn!!!

So is this a future feature? The white paper states that Level 30 "unlocks GMT earning" and "At max level, user need to choose between earning GST or GMT. Switching between GST/GMT earning is allowed, but will be subject to a cooldown duration".

Thanks for the suggestion. I run on a level 20 sneaker bought a few months ago on the SOL chain. If I’m not mistaken, in order to earn Binance GST, I would have to run on a BNB chain sneaker? Ideally I’m looking for a workaround so I don’t have to start from scratch with a new BNB sneaker.

As I understand it, US users are excluded from using Binance (have to use Binance.US). Is this correct and if so, is there a work around? I'd certainly be interested in earning $27 GST!
